The project from iddqd.ru the community, basis of which are maps, made in a speed- mapping course, on which only 4 hours were allowed (each speedmapping contest - 4 hours length). Of the 33 maps in this megawad, all but 14 were part of these speedmapping contests.

In the mod there will be both well known characters that you know and love (e.g. Doomguy from Doom, Dr. Doomguy from Dr. Doom, Peppino from Pizza Tower, Heavy from TF2, Serious Sam from Serious Sam, Sir Dan from Medievil, Quote from Cave Story and PTG from PTG) and some original author created characters!
Confinement 256 is a 60-level (plus 3 hub and secret maps) megawad for GZDoom released in June 2017 after a year of development. The project originally started as a solo megawad designed by Devon Barnett (Xyzzy01), with the first 20 maps made by him, but later evolved into a complete community project with 39 map contributions from various authors.
The megawad took inspiration from other projects such as Congestion 1024 and Claustrophobia 1024. All maps submitted were designed under the limit of a 256 by 256 square space in the level editor.
