Metropolitan Mayhem is a 15-map mod for Duke Nukem 3D (Atomic Edition). It's themetically very close to the original first and third episodes (LA Meltdown & Shrapnel City) of Duke Nukem 3D, concentrating almost exclusively on classic urban-themed maps.

Duke It's Zero Hour is a total conversion for Duke Nukem 3D. The project was developed by ZeroHour Software and released on November 1, 1997. It features new levels, weapons, enemies, music, sound effects, and even an original boss. Duke It's Zero Hour is sometimes purported to have been an officially authorized expansion that was originally slated for retail sale via WizardWorks, but these claims are disputed.

Having survived the events of part 1: Apocollapse, Duke tries to find his way towards the epicentre of the disaster, located right underneath a local venue called "The Kompleks". The situation is dire. The alien weapon is recharching for an even bigger blast and time is running out. Duke is the only one close enough to get there before it's too late. But deep chasms, collapsed buildings and unstable surfaces transformed the city into a very dangerous and hostile environment.
And that's without mentioning the constant assault of ruthless aliens, sent by their mysterious leader Froyd Eenakee..
