In Loony Balloon, the player controls a kid carrying a swaying balloon crossing a playground. To get out of the playground, he must reduce the balloon's sway, or it will burst when he crosses the exit.

Chitei Tairiku Orudora ("Underground Continent Orudora") is a Famicom Disk System action platformer from SunSoft and the third part of their Chinou Game Series, each borrowing an existing NES game's model (in Orudora's case, Atlantis no Nazo) and adding arithmetic problems to it. In Orudora, the actual math puzzles are relegated to an ancillary mini-game found on the disk.
The goal of the game is to help a young explorer pass through the underground world of Orudora, taking out enemies along the way with his bombs. The bombs fly in a specific arc, so the player needs to be the right distance from the enemy in order to hit it. The player character can also crouch, jump, climb ladders and use other abilities common to platformers.

In Youkai Yashiki, you control a boy armed with a flashlight who must explore five stages and locate five talisman before locating and gaining access to a stage boss. The flashlight serves as a weapon against the monsters which inhabit each stage. Your life meter takes the form of a set of batteries. As your life diminishes, the batteries drain and the power of your flashlight, that is the distance that the beams can travel, decreases.

Number Builder is an single screen educational platformer to help you improve your maths over twelve levels. You play the role of a builder who must move around a building site, climbing ladders, looking for sums to make a target number. You are given a starting number and you must pick up sums to add or subtract from that number to make the target number. Each level is split into three different target numbers and each must be completed before a bucket is lifted to the top of the screen. Once a level is completed you get paid money before attempting the next level.
Before you play the game you can select your starting level as well as your builder who vary in different speeds. There is also a Self Test where you choose a level of difficulty and attempt to give the correct answers to ten sums before receiving a score.

The game is a platformer with many action-adventure elements. The knight meets different moving (as snakes, dragons, birds, water drops) and rigid enemies (as gargoyles) and obstacles (as spears or moving pillars), that can be fought and destroyed. Some enemies spit e.g fire. Destroyed enemies leave behind coins which can be collected. The enemies can harm the knight, which at first costs energy and then leads to death. If rooms that have already been visited are reentered the enemies also reappear!
Furthermore there are door opener in the shape of flashing steles which open different doors in the castle and objects (e.g.in the shape of jugs), that contain energy, water or weapons and can be collected. At the beginning, the energy supply only consists of three energy points, but in the course of the game the energy supply can be raised. If the knight passes a rune stone, there is an important hint to be read.
