Cyber Commando is the 1994 sequel to Namco's 1993 arcade game Cyber Sled. The game ran on the Namco System 22 arcade hardware, the successor to the Namco System 21 arcade board which Cyber Sled ran on.
The player pilots a futuristic tank that glides smoothly over the surface like a 'sled', searching for enemies to destroy.
The player is cast as a soldier fighting the Aki-Do Forces, an evil empire bent on taking over the entire universe. To stop them, the player has access to an experimental mech, the Vortex, to travel the seven worlds of the Aki-Do system and destroy the bases.
Gun Force II is a run and gun arcade video game developed and originally published by Irem on September 1994. It is the sequel to the original GunForce and one of the last arcade games released by the company.
Players assume the role of police officers in a first-person perspective and use a light gun to shoot criminals and advance through the game, with penalties for shooting civilians. The players could also shoot powerups that grants him a weapon or a life. The weapon is lost if the player is hit, but not if he shoots a civilian. Virtua Cop was notable for its use of polygonal graphics, which were subsequently used in both House of the Dead and Time Crisis, instead of the two dimensional sprites that were popular for previous games in the same genre. It is also notable for being one of the first games to allow the player to shoot through glass. Its name derived from this graphical style, which was previously used in Virtua Fighter, Virtua Striker and Virtua Racing.
Soulstar for the Sega CD/Mega CD is a 3D shoot-'em up that combines several different types of gameplay into one game. Some levels in this game are on a fixed path, similar to Space Harrier or Star Fox. Other levels allow your space craft to hover freely around a 3D environment, and in other levels your craft transforms into a walker robot for close-up attacks.
World War III is over, and nomad soldier Duenan Knute and her cyborg partner Briareos struggle to survive in the abandoned cities and demilitarized zones of the post-war wasteland, the "Badside." Matters appear on the upswing, however, when they are found and brought to Olympus, an urban utopia and centerpiece for the reconstruction of civilization. Duenan and Bri join the Olympus' police, a force that seems hardly necessary in such a paradise. But, like in most pretty pictures, perfection is an illusion, and Olympus' peaceful facade hides a dark secret, a violent struggle between human and cyborg that could once again plunge the world into war... and genocide.
A rather parodic story explains that the player has been sent on a surveillance mission to find out what happened on the nuke mine of Nexus 14, which has been infested by demons coming through a time-continuum breach, but has decided to clean up the invasion alone instead.
Panorama Cotton is a pseudo-3D scrolling shooter reminiscent of Space Harrier, set in an anime-style fantasy world. Various levels scroll "into the screen", vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
It is widely considered one of the best technical showcase of the Sega Mega Drive.
Galaxia is a PWAD created by Pavel Hodek. It is notable for an extensive storyline (presented in a separate file, story.txt) which serves as the basis of the WAD's design and progression, in an era when most designers did not care about story or theme. It also features a few new sound effects and two replacement music tracks.
Skycity uses new textures, graphics and new sounds for the weapons. The level is set in a sort of abandoned megastructure, similar to a large shopping mall made out of concrete and marble. Spiderwebs and noticeable signs can be found all around. The map design is complex and intricate, with several interconnected areas and pathways that the player can choose, which encourages exploration due to the non-linearity of the map, and all the hidden and secret spots that can be found. It is a very early example of a semi-realistic map trying to recreate an urban-like structure.
Attack of the Zolgear is an arcade game for one to six players released by Namco. It is a sequel to Galaxian3. This game used two LaserDisc players simultaneously for the outer space background, while computer generated graphics were overlaid on top. The environmental "theater" used for Galaxian 3 received this upgraded sequel in 1994.
D!ZONE is a collection of user created WADs and utilities collected from the internet for Doom, Doom II: Hell On Earth, and other related games. These discs were popular in the early to mid 1990s when household Internet access was slower and not as common as today.

Doomsday of UAC (commonly known by its filename UAC_DEAD) is a single-level PWAD designed by Leo Martin Lim. As part of their 10 Years of Doom feature, Doomworld named it one of the ten best WADs of 1994.
One of the first ever fan-made Doom mods, UAC_DEAD features an attempt at creating realistic-looking vehicles and environments. It contains a replacement sky graphic, and uses careful flat and texture choices in places to simulate colored lighting. It also includes the first known instance of the self-referencing sectors trick, used to create invisible stairs.
Nitemare 3D (N3D) is a first-person shooter PC game with a horror theme, released by Gray Design Associates in 1994 for MS-DOS and Windows 3.1x platforms. It consisted of three episodes with ten levels in each episode, with the first episode being was released as shareware. The full release came on two 3½" floppy disks and was accompanied by a guide to the game's thirty levels. The graphics were similar to those used in Wolfenstein 3D or Ken's Labyrinth, with perpendicular walls and no textures on the floors or ceilings. The music in Nitemare 3D was composed by David B. Schultz (also composed for Quiver).
