Kuru Kuru Panic is a puzzle game that features 9 different characters and 2 different game modes. In the 1 player mode that player can choose a character and defeat the 8 other ones.

The main portion of the game is played through VN styled dialogue and interaction screens, where you choose from two to 4 choices of available routes that you may take. The game also has a battle system, in a fully 3d environment, that is basically rocks-paper-scissors.

You can set your vehicle's looks, movements, weapons, special attacks and much more. The same goes for the enemies, music, sounds and the stages, where you can change a plethora of things to suit your needs. Once you're satisfied you can save the game to your memory card to play the finished product later.

Meanwhile, other talented fighters will set out, some for reasons related to Dragless (like Terrific Forelock, the bodyguard and childhood friend of Princess Mirona, who's out to save her after she has been kidnapped by the Demon King), others not at all (like Misa Atago, who goes on a trip to ease the pain of her break-up with her boyfriend). In the end, all of them will learn about Dragless and realize how serious the situation is.
