Enhanced port of FIFA International Soccer for the 3DO.
Based on international teams (with fictional player names), their abilities in each skill area rated out of 10 to give the player an overall impression of how good they are. The options available follow the standard set: fouls and offsides can be toggled on and off, the match length can be set, and if the timer operates continuously, or only while the ball is in play. Gameplay privileges quick runs, short passes and blistering shots outside the penalty box, and set pieces are controlled by moving a box into the target area for the ball, and then passed, lobbed or kicked directly. On the tactical side, formations can be selected, with 5 different strategies also available (although not all of these combinations make sense) as can the team Coverage - the areas which defenders, midfielders and strikers cover.
Ultizurk III: The Guildmaster's Quest is a shareware top-down fantasy role-playing game that is visually similar to Ultima VI. As the eponymous Guildmaster, the player must save the kingdom from a mysterious threat.
The player controls a party of two: the Guildmaster and his companion Losi from the previous adventure in The Great Ultizurkian Underland. Basic interaction with the game world is accomplished by using the mouse, talking to NPCs requires the player to type keywords highlighted in yellow. The game boasts a great degree of interactivity, with the player being able to manipulate most items in a way they would behave in real life (e.g. fill a bucket with water and then put a burning torch out with it).
Set in a remote 19th century village, The Romantic Blue is a love story and adventure game with a horror theme.
It seems the town of ShadowCrest is under the spell of the Evil Sisterhood and its High Priestess Morella. Surrounded by ever-growing graveyards and engulfed in darkness, ShadowCrest's young girls are bound to serve the High Priestess upon their 18th birthday. All others are captured and enslaved by the order against their will and exist in a zombie-like state.
Despite the fact that love and marriage are forbidden, Miranda, one of the young girls of ShadowCrest, has fallen in love with Jack, who is one of the captives. Her despair grows each night as she listens to him play the piano in the distance. She vows to free him from the clutches of the Evil Sisterhood, but she cannot do this on her own. Having learned dark magic from the gypsies, she summons the player to help her.
The Ormus Saga III: The Final Chapter is a roleplaying game for the Commodore 64.
The King of Beryland has once again gone missing, and the creature Azerus of the Ormus Cult has come to power. The player must defeat the Ormus Cult for a third time.
The Game Boy Port of Lemmings 2: The Tribes is a major downgrade due to the much less powerful hardware, and the support of only a d-pad makes controlling this game a challenge. The graphics are much worse and the view is much smaller. The music also gets rescored for the game boy soundchip which only supports basic chiptunes.
Carrion Fields is a text based adventure mud with 20,000+ rooms. Find the 150+ automated quests. When you finally reach hero there will still be many challenges for you to face from fighting the Ancient Dragons to challenging Tiamat herself!
Roleplaying, Player Killing.
Player patrols the top of the castle and drops rocks onto the Orkish enemies who are trying to scale the wall. Should an Ork make it to the top then the player can call for their trusty sword and chop of the offending invaders head. What makes this game difficult is that there can only ever be one rock on screen at a time and while the player is holding their sword no new rocks will appear.
Randomly throughout the game a chief Ork will appear. They ascend slower than their companion Orks and can only be killed by dropping a rock on their head.
Mortal Kombat II is a pirated port of Mortal Kombat made by Cony Soft (known as Yoko Soft in this game) in 1994. This should not be mistaken for Mortal Kombat II (Hummer Team).
A comedic doujin game which parodies classic RPGs like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Ys. Buta-san must battle through various enemies (all of which are pigs) to collect the three crystals scattered across the kingdom and defeat the dark lord. It was developed by students in a university club primarily to test the X68000's music driver.
