Based on a TV anime series (from the grandfather of manga Osamu Tezuka), Blue Blink is a cute platformer that manages to find its place among the crowd. The game is divided up into different areas, each represented by a map screen. Within these areas, you can choose your route to the end (by exiting levels at certain points). Throughout each area you have to find a 'master key' allowing you access to the boss - this can be hard to locate at times and requires lots of shooting at blank areas of screen just in case.
Control of your character is original - on each stage you have three characters which you can choose between, with the CPU controlled ones following behind you like some bizarre congo line. The characters are preset and vary from stage to stage, and each one has different attributes. For example, some have very high jumping ability, whereas others are poor at jumping but have spread-shot weapons. Once you have found the master key and reached the final level in the area, you are entered into a boss battl
In 2050, after a great earthquake, the Moon got an atmosphere and conditions for normal human life. 50 years later, the Moon is inhabited by humans and a great tourist attraction. A boy called Daichi arrives on the Moon and hears the strange stories about people with rabbit ears. Soon he meets V-Mei, an old witch and her granddaughter Guri Guri, the members of the Long-Ears race which is in war with the evil Jadou Clan who wants to conquer the world. Sensing a power in the boy, V-Mei gives the magic gun to Daichi and reveals to him that he is the chosen Madou Warrior who will save the Long-Ears race and their land Rabiluna from the evil Jadou Clan. With the magic gun, Daichi can summon Granzort – the Madou King of Earth – a giant robot to fight against the monsters of the Jadou Clan.
Soon, Daichi, V-Mei and Guri Guri meet two other boys – Gus and Rabi. Gus receives a magic bow that summons Winzart – the Madou King of Wind, while Rabi receives a magic top that summons Aquabeat – the Madou King of Water.
Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru, is a Japan-only side-scrolling platformer developed by Capcom for the Famicom Disk System. The game's mechanics were later used (with an almost complete visual overhaul), for the game Yo! Noid.
The Sharp X68000 port of Bubble Bobble was developed by Dempa with MTJ's direct supervision. This version includes a hidden minigame called Sybubblun, which features an original set of very difficult levels, with the whole game being given a visual motif to resemble the Arcade game Syvalion.
Adventures in Nimnul's Castle is an action game were the player must guide the chipmunk characters Chip and Dale through nine levels while avoiding enemies and obstacles. Each level takes place in one of three locations: outside the castle, on the castle steps, and inside the castle proper, with the stage objectives varying between them, such as simply avoiding all enemies while moving across the screen or collecting items such as screws. The player is awarded points for each successful objective they complete, and has three attempts to make it through the game. Short cutscenes appear at the beginning and end of the game, as well as after certain levels

A truly bizarre game which was rather popular at the time. It's an action game of sorts, in which you play Beetlejuice himself and you have to kill (?) all kinds of skeletons with weapons -- you start with the ability to shoot a single loogie at the skeletons and, by collecting bonuses from destroyed skeletons, you may get additional loogies per shot or completely different weapons.
Also, after you hit a skeleton, your friend Lidia has to collect the skeleton's remains with a vacuum cleaner; however, if a skeleton find Lidia she becomes imprisoned in a cage and you have to release her by hitting another skeleton and taking a "lightning bonus" from his remains.
Another nice touch is the worm, which comes out of the playground every now and then and, should it hit you, kills you.
King Michael has promised the hand of marriage to Princess Clare to anyone who can save her from Spooky Castle. You, Gormless Gary has taken up the challenge and entered the castle. To hinder Gary in his quest, there are bats and ghosts flying about with fire scattered around also. Touching any of these reduces Gary's energy bar. When the bar is empty then it's game over when all lives are lost. Scattered around the castle though are crosses which give extra lives, potions which give Gary more energy and keys which open doors.

Thunder Fox is an arcade game created by Taito. It was released in arcades in 1990 and for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in 1991. It was later released on various consoles such as the Xbox and PlayStation 2 in a compilation of Taito classics. The title of the compilation is Taito Legends.
The gameplay for Thunder Fox is similar to other popular side scrolling action games like Namco's Rolling Thunder (video game), and Sega's Shinobi (arcade game). There are three buttons for each player - Attack, which normally is used to make Thunder and Fox (the game's heroes) stab with their knives. Jump, and a Weapon button which fires or throws a weapon acquired by the heroes. What makes this game unique is that the game gives players the opportunity to allow players to use their obtained weapons (save for the hand grenades) as melee weapons which helps conserve ammunition for when it's needed.
You and an opponent, either the computer or another player, throw a ball up to try and break colored blocks; blue for player one, red for player two. Only when the ball is thrown as the player's color will it break the blocks. Otherwise, it will just bouce off your opponent's blocks.

Mithos is a side-scrolling action game. In the game the player controls an archer centaur called Ahyzar, who must recover the seven lost magic coins of his god Krosar.
