Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror is a first-person shooter video game developed in 2002 by Kamehan Studios and published by Infogrames as a MicroProse title. The game is a standalone retail version of a multiplayer modification of the same name published by Kamehan Studios in 1999 for the game Unreal Tournament. The game features match-based missions in which two teams, themed as Special Forces and terrorists, battle to complete mission objectives and kill their opponents. Upon release, Tactical Ops received mixed to average reviews, with critics faulting the game's similarities to the non-commercial version and lack of defining features compared to other multiplayer first-person shooters.

At the same time, the shotgun can be reloaded much faster and a new melee attack is introduced: Guard Attack. It is a powerful move that also blocks incoming attacks, but requires a "reload" time.

The episodes were going to be playable in any order with independent story segments, planned playtime of 4-6 hours, with an overarching story.
Initially aiming for a development cycle of 4-6 months between releases, there was plans for changing future episodes depending on what players did in the previous ones. To do this, specific gameplay data was recorded and could be uploaded anonymously by players at any time.
This information included gameplay options like the difficulty level, assistance level and use of cheats as well as stats like weapon specific kills, deaths per map, secrets found, completion time and highscores for those playing on Hardcorps mode.

Magic Carpet 2: The Netherworlds was the follow-up of the successful yet underrated game, Magic Carpet. It fixed many of the design complaints present in the first Magic Carpet. The basic concept of the game remains the same as Magic Carpet, with the player being able to build a castle, collect mana, destroy creatures for their mana and battle rival sorcerers.
It featured the addition of night-time levels, and underground levels, which not only helped alleviate the repetitiveness of the preceding game, but also accompanied the storyline progression, which was mapped out before each level. Underground levels, however, do not have rival wizards. There are also several secret entrances to reach hidden levels, where the player can gain more spells and experience.
Also unlike its predecessor, the game proceeded by completing various missions such as reaching checkpoints and destroying specific buildings/monsters, rather than just simple accumulation of mana.
