It is said the title HWY Chase (HWY instead of Highway) was selected to easily recycle source code and materials made for 'Mad Rider', released earlier as a PCB, and known as 'Mad Alien' out of Japan.

    In Blockout!, the object is to blast through the blocks in the shortest amount of time. There are four colored lines of blocks, and each line has an electronic demon. The electronic demons can replace removed blocks when charged. They'll be charged by touching either sides of the screen. After placing a block, they'll lose the charge, and if they try to cross a gap uncharged, they'll fall and reappear after a penalty time.

    The player takes control of a cowboy battling Native Americans. There are three types of enemies including the Indian footman, Indian on horseback and Buzzard. Arrow and tomahawk projectiles can also be shot for points. Enemies on the same plane such as scorpions cannot be shot and limit where the player can move the cowboy. Obstacles such as cacti and rocks block the cowboy's line of fire. One hit from an enemy or projectile takes a life away. The player is required to kill a set number of enemies to progress to the next level.

    Pachinko! is based on the Japanese gaming device of the same name. The players are shown right below a giant Pachinko game. Five cups are placed across the screen, with two rotors, one at each side, and the Magic Mountain in the middle. The object of the game is to bounce the balls inside the cups to earn points. Each player has an energizer, used to beat the ball. If the action button is pressed, the energizer will be risen and if the ball touches it, it will continue its horizontal direction. If the ball touches an energizer not completely raised, the ball direction will be reversed. If the ball hits a player, it will loose energy.

The game is one of the best selling in the Game & Watch series selling an astonishing (albeit estimated) 1,000,000 copies worldwide. A re-release for the game was made for the Wide Screen units, which sold 200,000 more units that the silver edition. This particular version of the game was released on December 4, 1981. In the game, you'll control two separate characters holding a stretcher of some sort. In the game, people are jumping out of a burning building, and your goal is to get them to safety by using the stretcher to bounce them into an ambulance, with most taking more than one bounce to get there.

It is a single-screen single-player Game & Watch. In Game A, the player tosses two balls in the air. As the balls fall, the player must catch and toss them up again. One point is earned for each successful catch. A dropped ball will display a broken ball and end the game. The object is to continuously catch the balls that fall and throw them back up, as in juggling. In Game B, the player must juggle three balls, and each successful catch rewards ten points instead of one.

    In Galactic Space Wars, the player controls of a fighter spacecraft with the sole objective to find and destroy enemy space ships. The players takes a first person perspective from inside the cockpit searching the vast area of space to locate enemy craft. Once one is located, players try to quickly fix their laser's sight on the enemy and shoot it. If the enemy stays on the screen for too long, it will fire one shot at the player's ship and score a hit. There are four different enemy ships, each worth a varying amount of points. Players are given a limited amount of time to destroy as many ships as possible, while trying not to let the enemy ships fire back. Lunar Lander is inspired by the same titled arcade game Lunar Lander. Players pilot a lunar lander and attempt to have a soft landing on a platform. The lunar lander has a limited amount of fuel to maneuver around, thus adding to the challenge. Players must gently and smoothly lower the lander onto the platform, as coming down too fast or missing the platform

    The player controls a box tied to a floating balloon, which swings left and right continually, within a maze filled with spikes. Any contact with the spikes, either with the balloon or the box, destroys the balloon. Using a four-way joystick, the player moves the box through the maze and toward the goal, ensuring that the swinging balloon avoids the spikes. The player collects points as the box moves closer to the goal (backtracking earns no points). Certain areas of the maze are colored green and purple, and the player will earn more points if the balloon and box pass through the area safely. While there is no time limit, the player cannot wait for a long time; otherwise, a face will appear and blow the balloon into the spikes. As the player completes mazes, individual spikes, or even the entire maze, may begin moving or scrolling.
