Sudoku is, obviously, a Sudoku game for CPC and Speccy. Players can select the grid size of 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 9x9, 10x10 and 12x12, although 9x9 is default. Players then choose the difficulty. The object is to fill in each empty spot with a number of 1 to 9. On the 10x10 and 12x12 grids, the letters A and A to C are also used. Each horizontal row, vertical column and sub-grid can contain a number only once.
A clone of the classic arcade game Pengo, in which a penguin pushes blocks of ice to kill the enemies, while trying to push parts of a diamond together.
As an intrepid fortune seeker, players enter the darkness of the Pacific seeking fortune and fame seeking and the lost city of Atlantis. Met by dangerous sea creatures, player must fend them off while searching through the darkness. An overly complicated game for its time, players are forced to keep an eye on their oxygen levels and using a sextant (similar to a compass.) Players are greeted at the end of each level by a light post.
Burnin' Rubber, a GX4000/CPC plus launch/bundle title (and one of the few exclusives for the range), is an arcade-style racing game, much inspired by the developers' earlier WEC Le Mans.
The game depicts a Le Mans-inspired endurance race over four laps consisting of four checkpoints each. The game begins with a qualification lap before the race itself starts. Racing is arcade-style, with Outrun-style 3rd person perspective view graphics and a timer that indicates how much time is left before the next checkpoint has to be reached. Opponents fill the track and billboards fill its sidelines - crashing too fast into either displays a spectacular crash animation and takes valuable time off the clock. The game offers a choice of automatic or manual gear switching. The time of day passes during racing, thus offering driving in sunsets and sunrises and during the night.
Quattro Combat has a combination of four classic games developed and published by Codemasters for systems like the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, and ZX Spectrum.
