    Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns is a 8-bit port of Tiertex's Strider II for Game Gear and Master System. Game Gear port of Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns is the last Returns port to be released, but rather than being based off the original or the Mega Drive port, it follows closely the design of the Master System port, since the Game Gear's hardware is closer to the Master System. It does appear to have some slight tweaks done to the programming and a few minor changes as well.

    An apprentice magician dinosaur living in Monsterland, Theo Saurus, made a mistake while practising a spell one day. Theo began living underground in a hidden cave to avoid the wrath of the other monsters until discovered one day by the hero of the story, Mayhem. Mayhem promised to bring Theo the necessary magic dust to transform Monsterland to its previous happy state.

The Sega Genesis one instead has the same background on all levels, and you need to collect Cheetah Icons from trees or ground areas, and battle snakes, bats, white rhino, hyena, scavenger, and more creatures as you try to get the Cheetah Icons. In level 1 you play as Hercules, then Apollo in level 2, and finally Aries in level 3. Finally, after those 3 levels, the game is beaten.

    Snow Bros.: Nick & Tom is a 1990 arcade game which was ported to the Sega Mega Drive in 1993. The game follows two snowmen, Nick and Tom, who must defeat all the on-screen enemies by creating giant snowballs; think Bubble Bobble. It is one of the few Toaplan to Mega Drive ports developed by Toaplan themselves. The Mega Drive version adds cutscenes to the game, as well as some more background music and several additional levels. This version was only released in Japan and Korea.
