Most of us driving-game junkies want more than a realistic driving experience; we want rocket-like speed that lets us blast through the streets, defying the boundaries of realism.
Space Haste seats you in a hovercraft modelled after 50s-style cars, in a race where your speed limit is unlimited. The maximum speed of the hovercraft increases throughout the game, as your skills improve. What makes this even more challenging is that your reaction time decreases as your speed increases, so hugging the curves of the track gets even more difficult.
Along the track, you can grab pickups, such as Cloak, Stun, and Shield, that add temporary powers to your vehicle.
Despite the smutty title, the only ‘big people’ requirement is a driving license, as you’re racing through Europe and America in a variety of cars. Each level has a visual background reflecting part of the country.
The route is mapped out beforehand, but it needn’t be strictly adhered to, as the surrounding roads are all presented and can be used as you wish. The computer cars in the race will often deviate from the course as well, adding real navigation to the proceedings. You accrue damage from contact, which needs to be repaired after the race, so you need to keep some prize money coming in.
The racing is illegal, so you are pursued by police as you go, similarly to Crazy Cars 3, so make sure not to get caught, and do your dangerous driving out of their sight. You’ll have to drive on the correct side of the road and negotiate pedestrians and other traffic as well
In this immersive 500cc motorcycling management simulation, players start with a $4 million budget to build their dream team. The game seamlessly blends economic strategy, technical management, and racing action across renowned circuits like Phillip Island. Players select from 20 international racers and 14 high-performance motorcycles from top manufacturers, balancing rider skills and bike specifications to create a winning combination. As the season progresses, players transition from novice racers to seasoned professionals.
The gameplay alternates between hands-on racing simulation—where players control acceleration, gear shifts, and cornering—and strategic team management, where they guide their rider through real-time race conditions. With both single-track and championship modes available, the game offers engaging experiences for solo players or turn-based competition for two, allowing motorsport enthusiasts to test their skills both on and off the track.
Driving around in the car known as the "General Lee", you must avoid all sorts of obstacles in an attempt to catch up to Jeremiah Stinge. Beware though as Boss Hog and his police force are trying to chase you. The Duke boys are as usual on the side of right in this scenario and it's Jeremiah who has orchestrated things to put them on the wrong side of the law.
Action Biker is a game that uses the character Clumsy Colin from the British comic Buster, and he was also used as the mascot for the crisp range KP Skips. You take control of Colin on his motorbike and you must ride around an isometric 360 degree landscape to collect various clothing items and bike parts to enter a drag race. There are various obstacles to avoid and these include walls, fences, trees, telegraph poles, a petrol station and water and if you crash into any then you lose one of five lives. There are also raised platforms that can be negotiated but you are able to jump from them safely. Once you have collected all the items required, you can make your way to the drag strip to race.
