Each player moves through the board by selecting from one of several numbers to determine the number of spaces to move. Various spaces have different effects: some cause good or bad events to occur, some cause random events to happen, and some allow the player to pick a specific activity for the day such as studying or going to work which will increase various stats that in turn affect future events. Himitsu Sentai Metamor V is a visual novel-style adventure game starring a cast of transforming magical girls. The game is divided into chapters and follows the five members of the Metamor V squad, all of them elementary school students and classmates of Sakie's. Much of the game consists of conversation sequences with other characters; the player's reactions and choices will affect Sakie's trust level with her squadmates, and through conversations the player will also learn different key words. Both of these are important during the battle sequences, in which the player must combine words in order to create the most effective special attacks. There is no lose condition, but the player is graded on how quickly they defeat opponents, which affects trust levels and ultimately the game's ending.
The later PlayStation "Deluxe" version includes an extra bonus side scenario and additional voice acting, but is otherwise the same game.

Tenshi Doumei combines battlefield tactics and mech upgrades for an entertaining title. At face value, Tenshi is a tactical strategy RPG where you move units and attack or defend against cadres of adversaries.
Attacks consist of long range artillery attacks and close-range bouts where you invariably punch an enemy mech. The drawback of a punch is that the opponent will counter-attack within the close range. A long range fire attack will not prompt any return fire. Close range attacks are preferable in the first few levels because they inflict more damage.
