    Shanghai II, not to be confused with Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye on the Sega Mega Drive, is a Sega Game Gear game. They are both sequels to Shanghai. Shanghai II is a variant of the puzzle game also known as solitaire mahjong. 144 mahjong tiles are arranged in rows and stacked upon each other in various patterns; the player's goal is to remove pairs of matching tiles that do not have adjacent tiles from both sides until the whole board is clear. This variant features six patterns named after animals: tiger, scorpion, monkey, snake, panther, and dragon. The player can choose to display hints or reverse any amount of moves. A mode with a time limit is available as well.

    Off the Wall is an arcade game released by Atari Games in 1991. It shares similar gameplay to Atari's classic, Breakout. Tengen developed a Sega Game Gear port, thought to be set for release around 1993. It was featured in some gaming magazines, as well as Summer CES 1993, but was quietly cancelled with no explanation. A prototype has since been found and dumped. No other home versions Off the Wall were ever released (a PC Engine version was planned before also being cancelled), though a similar (but unrelated) Atari 2600 game was released in 1989 by Atari Corporation.

    Based on Takehiko Inoue's manga and anime, Slam Dunk: Shouri e no Starting 5 has both a story mode and a CPU match mode The player can pick one of four teams for the Slam Dunk tournament. Before starting the game, the player decides what roles the six team members will be and their exact positions in the basketball court. The gameplay shows the players from an overhead perspective, highlighting who is dribbling the ball and the opponent in pursuit. Close ups show major movements such as starting the match, defending a basketball hoop and scoring a goal.
