Heavy Metal Paradroid is a remastered version of the 1985 game, Paradroid, that started as a graphics test during the development of Morpheus. It was later released with the new graphics style along with the speed improvements added in the Competition Edition.
Its speed is enhanced further on the C128, in C64 mode, as it makes use of the platforms 2mhz mode in some places.
Operation Fireball is a horizontal scrolling shooter viewed from above at an elevated angle, with the screen scrolling constantly from left to right as you use various modes of transport to get to a base to blow up a submarine. Between each mode of transport is a small animated scene as you move from one to the next and the modes are car, speedboat, ski, motorbike and helicopter. You must shoot or avoid the enemy in various vehicles or on skis, as well as avoid obstacles like rocks, oil patches and trees. Helicopters fly overhead and drop bombs while missiles fly from the right to the left and can only be avoided. If you are hit by anything then you lose part of a shield gauge but when not being hit increases it and if it empties then it is game over.
Willamina “Willie” Runn and Wallace “Wally” Gunn were two run-of-the-mill infantry until an army experiment went seriously wrong and fused their bodies into a super soldier. Run, jump, shoot and explore your way to victory on an alien planet.
Day of Eevee is a Commodore 64 game about Eevee's birthday. Play three separate mini-games to earn medals. Each mini-game has a secret alternate solution!
These games were made in the 80s on a Commodore 64, using Palace Software's Shoot'Em Up Construction Kit. Sloany made these back when he was about 11 or 12. The tapes were found some years later & preserved for posterity as TAP files.
Embarrassing name aside, this is another vertically-scrolling, run-and-gun shooter, this time staring Terrapins, that may or may not bear a striking resemblance to other be-shelled pizza loving reptiles.
Take the role of Sloany or his mate Reggie as they plod through a load of bad guys that loosely resemble whatever he was into at the time – ninjas, batman, arcade machines, Subbuteo players, Pac-Man etc.
