Bust-A-Move (also known as Puzzle Bobble) is a real-time puzzle game in which the player controls a device called "pointer" at the bottom of the screen, aiming and releasing randomly colored bubbles upwards. Depending on the aiming, the bubbles may float up directly or bounce off the walls, changing their trajectory. The goal is to aim the bubbles in such a way that they will touch identically colored ones. When such bubbles form a group of three or more, they pop and disappear from the screen.
The pit droids go through 300 different puzzles, each randomly selected for eight levels. At first, your droids start at the Transport Ship, ending at the final level, the Arena. In each puzzle, you need to get 48 droids into the portal; if you get only a few number of droids, you advance with only that number. With each puzzle you complete, you gain points. Each level you unlock, you get a humorous pit droids clip. The levels are located in Tatooine.
There are many different numbers of different types of obstacles and restriction. With different types of arrows, you can also make your own puzzles.
Depending on the puzzles, there are certain factors:
Different tools- wrench, ladder, gas tank, cases, or nothing. Sometimes there are obstacles which give your droids tools;
Different colored heads, body, or same colored head and body. Sometimes there are painting obstacles that paint the body or head;
Square or Hexagonal grid;
Space between droids- if you have space, you can cross droid paths, with out it, they crash

This game was released only in Japan. It is the fourth game in the Puyo Puyo series and the last set during the Madou-era in the main series.
Continuing the trend of naming the games after puns, the name comes from a pun on "yon", the Japanese word for the number 4, but this time this is the only reference to the pun.
The gameplay in is similar to that of Puyo Puyo 2, but adds super attacks. Clearing chains now builds up a "charge meter" which allows players to use them. The only other addition was a new game mode which could be played with a number of different field sizes, smaller or bigger than the standard 6x12, however, it removes several game modes that were present in Puyo Puyo Sun, i.e. the tournament, task and chain training modes. The art is also vastly different to the previous game in the series and, of course, the Fever series; this style was only otherwise used for Minna de Puyo Puyo.
There are several key differences in gameplay from the original Tetris. First, in addition to clearing lines, one can also form 4x4 large squares of four pieces to form blocks. When a block is created, it turns solid gold or silver, depending on the makeup of the block. Blocks can only be constructed from whole pieces: if any part of a piece has been cleared, then it cannot be used to form a block. When a line that has pieces from a block is cleared, it earns more points.

The player controls the "Vaus", a space vessel that acts as the game's "paddle" which prevents a ball from falling from the playing field, attempting to bounce it against a number of bricks. The ball striking a brick causes the brick to disappear. When all the bricks are gone, the player goes to the next level, where another pattern of bricks appears. There are a number of variations (bricks that have to be hit multiple times, flying enemy ships, etc.) and power-up capsules to enhance the Vaus (expand the Vaus, multiply the number of balls, equip a laser cannon, break directly to the next level, etc.), but the gameplay remains the same.
