    Giga Wing 2 (ギガウイング2?) is a 2000 vertical scrolling shooter arcade game developed by Takumi and published by Capcom on Sega's NAOMI arcade system board and later ported in 2001 to the Dreamcast console. The arcade version is notable both for its excessive scores (scores in the quintillions are not unheard of), and for using a horizontally aligned monitor (much like Treasure Co. Ltd's Radiant Silvergun), something that is considered rare for a vertical shooter.

    Elemental Gearbolt is your typical "save the world from the evil lunatic who wishes to destroy all of mankind for his own tyrannical reasons" story. In this case, a power hungry prince is plotting this scenario by using the Neural Network Computer, which happens to keep the world in balance. He wishes to destroy this machine, which feeds on volunteers, or Elementals. Once you die, your soul is fed to this machine which makes you an Elemental. Such is the case with the two sisters' Nell and Seana. But what the prince did not know is that he caused their death and now the two Elementals are out for his blood and to save all of mankind.

    Ken's Labyrinth is a first-person 3D shooter. The protagonist has to escape from an underground labyrinth populated by monsters while trying to rescue his dog Sparky. The game plays similarly to Wolfenstein 3D and involves the protagonist traversing colorful maze-like areas, shooting monsters on the way with exotic weapons such as a bubble-gum gun. The game's stand-out feature are interactive elements: there are vending and slot machines in the stages which the player can interact with, as well as breakable walls.

    Catacomb 3-D is the third in the Catacomb series of video games, and the first of these games to feature 3D computer graphics. The game was originally published by Softdisk under the Gamer's Edge label, and is a first-person shooter with a dark fantasy setting. The player takes control of the high wizard Petton Everhail, descending into the catacomb of the Towne Cemetery to defeat the evil lich Nemesis and rescue his friend Grelminar. Catacomb 3-D is a landmark title in terms of first-person graphics. The game was released in November 1991 and is arguably the first example of the modern, character-based first-person shooter genre, or at least it was a direct ancestor to the games that popularized the genre. It was released for DOS with EGA graphics. The game introduced the concept of showing the player's hand in the three-dimensional viewpoint, and an enhanced version of its technology was later used for the more successful and well-known Wolfenstein 3D.

    In 2010, the Advanced Ideas Corporation (AI Corp) has discovered the remains of a crashed alien ship. The technological ability of this race (and the race itself) were far superior to what the Humans had. A few days after this discovery, the mothership of the alien race began to attack Earth, without provocation. The aliens quickly subdued the superpowers of the Earth and held them down under their mighty technological power. Earth geneticists studied the remains of the aliens retrived from the crashed ship discovered that the invaders were all cybernetically-enhanced creatures and that under such conditions there was no way that Earth could retaliate sufficiently to destroy these organisms. So, the AI Corp brought forth the Enhanced Combat Scouts (ECS) project. They developed a prototype and gave it the code name "Havoc". Havoc's mission is to disrupt and destroy the communication lines between the alien forces and their commander. He is Earth's last hope.

    In the year 2012, Foreign Terrorists led by the infamous Victor Baloch have taken control of the Twin "U.N towers" in the United States of America, capturing the leaders of the world who were holding a summit at the time. As a member of the Governments "Elite Force", trained to take out terrorists when the talking stops, you must enter one of the towers through its maintenance area, which can be accessed through the sewers. OBC has 40 levels with the first 5 taking place in the sewers where the player, strangely, fights off giant rats and mutants the manual calls Sludge Minions before they enter the first tower to take on the terrorists. The weapons available to the player include a shotgun with infinite ammo, an Uzi, Galil, Flame Thrower and Grenade Launcher (though it functions like a Rocket Launcher).
