A nicely designed metal map with experimental gameplay. Instead of fighting the monsters directly, the player has to take a more stealth-based approach and lure them into traps.

Medium sized base map with a unique concept: "keep the usual shapes but take away the textures." A biohazard outbreak at this facility adds lots of blood to the mostly white textures.
Large dark underwater base / temple adventure map with lots of exploration. Textures by Makkon, built on extras_r5 mod by Khreathor (already included) with features like ladders. Make sure to save often, and save powerups until you really need them.

The ranger has been called to Ranger Station Theta as a precaution as scientists there have reported an anomaly with their slip-tech that would indicate a malevolant force has been trying to exploit the station. They could get a handle on the slip gate interdimensional array and use it as a back-door that would allow them to take control of some of Earth's remote facilities. Your breifing was to investigate the disturbance and eradicate any compromised forces or opposition that you encounter.
This contest was run mid-September to mid-November of 2001, with the goal of creating maps in the tradition of Tim Elek's 'Coagula' series of maps - a series of structures floating in the void. There were 5 entries: Tronyn(2), Fat Controller, Dilvish, and Necros. In addition, a start map created by Tronyn is included, as well as the original Coagula series by Tim Elek.
