Some classic, oldschool cramped Ult. Doom gameplay with 2 maps. Originally was supposed to have been released for Doom's 25th birthday as a set consisting of 4 maps.
This one large map is Chris Hansen's interpretation of an action filled and slightly different episode 2 level. It tried to stay true to the style of eps. 2, but cranked it up a bit.
High/Low 2 is a Doom Episode 2 themed level. Like High/Low 1, which was an episode 1 kinda level it is only meant to resemble the style, not to copy it.
The first 3 maps saw you fighting against Imps, Sergeants and Demons with only the Shotgun, Chaingun and the Rocket Launcher. This time they are cranked up to 11 and you're gonna get bigger guns. But also a whole lot of beefier meat to aim them at! You are the Mean Green and you are about to bully the crap out of this strange world!
The levels are medium sized and sets the player in an abstract semi realistic hellish tech setting.
The levels are small-medium in size and plays more like Ult. Doom since only lower tier monsters and weaponry were used. They should offer a good 45 minutes of some classic, old school fun! The action is fast paced and the levels feature their usual style of interconnectivity and semi-realistic to abstract visuals.
This map is the conclusion of my High/Low series. This map is full of trick, traps, ambushes and puzzles. There is also a good deal of variety in the layout, so expect to do a little base jumping and try to watch your step at all times.
This map is a revamp of the original Flay the Obscene, which was released in 1999. As the title states, the 1st map has been reversed with you starting at the end.
The aim was to create a level with a classic approach to custom pwad making. In other words, he just wanted to make an old school Doom 2 map with lots of fun action, a hard pumped midi track, no custom textures besides the sky and a short no-bullshit title!
This is a remake of one of Chris Hansen's really early levels. He always considered it as his first really good level and felt that it needed a revival.
End Game is an eight map collaboration PWAD for Doom II. The project is the last active contribution to the Doom community by Anthony Soto (Swedish Fish). There is no set theme as the map environments range from gothic castles to tech bases.
