Alpha 27, the one planet in the galaxy that is fit for human habitation. For many years, the space observation system here was used for a wide range of research. One day, horrifying news arrived- a giant comet was hurtling toward the solar system, on its present course, it was going to colide with the moon. and then….Nothing! For some strange reason the humans and the moon seemed completely unaffected. The humans were unaware that a new nightmare had already begun. The giant comet had changed shape- it was not a comet at all, it was an alien mothership!
Gameplay is similar to the previous Truxton. Truxton II has six huge areas, each with a boss at the end; the game "loops" these six areas forever. Lives are given out at 70000 points, then every 200000 points after; players start with three.
There are power-ups to increase ship speed, add a smartbomb to your stock, and change/strengthen your current weapon: red fires bombs in a small area around your ship, similar to the red weapon from Robo Aleste; blue is a homing laser, similar to the blue weapon from the original Truxton; while green fires wide-reaching salvos of green shots and more or less replaces the red weapon from Truxton.
Dead Connection is an arcade game released by Taito in 1992. The game takes place on September 5, 1953 "in a big city somewhere".
It features a group of detectives who set out to fight a crime family. The game has a strong Film noir vibe, shown through the appearance of the detectives and the featuring of a female protagonist. Each stage is preceded by a short cinematic interlude that explains the transition between the game's different locales.
Heated Barrel is a Western themed side-scrolling shoot 'em up game that supports up to four players at the same time. The game offers four typical Western characters to choose from: Howdy Pardner with his shotgun, the Mexican Chi Chi Gringo throwing boomerangs, the axe throwing Indian Little Plum and Billy Six Guns a revolver shooting guy. As you make progress you fight cowboys, Indians and ghosts.
While shooting in all directions you walk across towns, deserts and rivers blasting everything that crosses your path. Along the way, you can pick up several items, including power-ups that make your bullets stronger, a double star item that gives your character a second weapon, so you can shoot both at the same time, extra lives and a barrel, which you can use to blow up everything near you and makes you invincible for a brief amount of time, this is useful when you are surrounded. Some levels have large mid-bosses and all of them have an end-of-level boss.
Mystic Riders is a 2D side-scrolling shoot'em up game set in a fantasy world, similar in style to Cotton. The player controls a child witch riding on a broomstick. Gameplay is very typical - the player flies right, shoots enemies like ghosts, grim reapers, bats, dragons, gargoyles etc., and collects bonuses and power-ups. The witch can charge shoot to deal more damage. The game has six levels and a multiplayer mode for 2 players.
In the beginning, the world was inhabited by gods and giants who fought over which race would rule. You are Leon, a fighter chosen by the King to obtain the Spirit before Count Brahzen does.

One or two players (in hot-seat or cooperative mode) control a spaceship equipped with a laser cannon which can be charged (by holding the shooting button down) for a stronger blast. Besides the main weapon, three special weapons are available: a wall of fire which wipes the screen up in a wave, a nova-like blast and a circle of spherical-green homing missiles.

Rogue Trooper is a Genetic Infantryman (G.I.) of the future whose entire battalion was wiped out on their first mission in the Quartz Zone of Nu Earth. Rogue must navigate many platform levels and several first person style flying levels to get to the root of the treachery. He is assisted by three bio chips containing the personalities of three of his dead buddies; Gunnar, Helm and Bagman - unfortunately, Bagman's silicon is deteriorating. The plot is helped along with comic pages between levels. This game is based on the long-running 2000 AD comic character of the same name.
