Waves of various DUMB ZOMBIES want to be your best friends, but it looks like you would prefer to see them dead!
So help yourself and use your skills to kill them all!
Marooned in deep space, with the jump-drive offline, the Captain can only hope to gather enough rescue pods to repair the ship. Can he escape before the Dajjal's minions, already in hot pursuit, close in for the kill? Procedural content makes a new, different challenge each time you play!
Doom is fast. DOOM(4) is fast-ish.
By mixing the movement speed of the old Doom, with the jumping tricks of the new DOOM, this mod is aimed to be a very fast paced experience, therefore it can be quite challenging. Even though there are no hitscan-attacking monsters, their projectiles are "not too fast" at best, "holy crap, where did that come from" at worst. The projectile attacks are there to be dodge-able most of the time, so long as you are keeping an eye (and ear) on your surroundings. However, since this was created with the idea of also being playable on a mobile device via D-Touch, where movement and aiming are somewhat diminished, additional skills were added to fit whatever playing style you prefer. Whether you want a very easy experience with a ton of monsters, or a very difficult one with fewer enemies, it's all covered!
This mod is also completely designed with multiplayer in mind via Zandronum, and extensive care was taken to ensure it works as intended in said port.

Red Sky is an FPS game with the same kind of old-school gameplay from the mid-90's, with 16 tough levels and lots of varied gameplay. The game takes at least two hours to beat, but many more if you aren't an experienced player, and is running on its own custom 3-D engine.
Second "explore" map jam - featuring five smallish levels in different themes and with experimental gameplay. Running Late is a five-level Boom-compatible PWAD created by A2Rob and released in January 2017. The PWAD is the author's go at building a small, continuous level set, that is built upon mostly vanilla Doom textures with some new graphics. The levels were designed around pistol start balance.
Welcome to Shovelware Adventure! This is a 100% vanilla compatible wad & dehacked file for DOOM II. This map is full of bloody battle arenas and slimy passageways! There are many secrets to discover and several paths to reach the exit. This map was designed with a high quality but oldschool 90's style in mind, the little gems with quirky graphic edits that you find on those old discs among 1000 random wadfiles - hence the name Shovelware Adventure. It's meant to feel like a mini-episode despite being just one lone map. The objective is to pump rockets into the core and blow the place up!
50 Monsters is a project I started back in 2014 when I was just really getting into mapping. It got a bit out of hand in the second half of development, and as such the final product is fairly inconsistent in terms of overall quality. Still, though, it was a good learning experience and I enjoyed creating it.
Retro Jam - Egyptian is the sixth Retro Jam organized at Func_Msgboard - featuring 17 small to medium-sized Egyptian-themed levels by various authors. It comes with custom visuals for the items and several skyboxes. Retro Jams are map packs designed for vanilla Quake and can be played with an unmodified engine.
This map pack is one of the biggest ever made, at 52615 Kilobytes, lasting up to six hours of playtime.
Gunnel Vision was made in 3 days for the Blockjam on Humble Bundle and was developed by Ludosity. It is now available for free on itch.io and is featured in Scrap Pack 4 on Daniel Remar's website.
Gunnel Vision is all about guns. The more guns the better.
Pick up a gun - shoot a gun. Pick up two guns, shot with two guns. Pick up 100 guns - MAYHEM! In Gunnel Vision you don't need an inventory - use your entire arsenal at once until your vision is blocked by it - with nothing left to see but the enemy dead center.
Chibiko isn't the best choice for the 'hero' of a game... in the last year she's been killed by God, banished from hell, and reincarnated as the enemy of all mankind!
But, she's not going to let any of that get her down!... in fact, the only problem she has right now is the strange monsters that have been lurking around the mountains lately - and now they are infesting HER castle!
Join Chibiko in her unholy battle against the invasion of badly drawn, cliche and generally uninspired enemies, pummel your way through 4 levels of brainless firepower crazy action - and unleash hell on the 4 end level boss enemies!
Shadow of the Wool Ball is a 2016 total conversion for the ZDoom engine. Made by MSPaintR0cks, this is a unique shooter in which the player is a hedgehog fighting an army of cats. It is spread across three episodes, each having six levels. The mapping style is more akin to Wolfenstein 3D than classic Doom.
The playful art style, creative gameplay mechanics, and humorous plot were well-received, including a runner-up at the Cacowards 2016. A sequel, Rise of the Wool Ball, was released by MSPaintR0cks the following year.
