The game features two worlds: the Underworld of Fire and the Arctic Earth, which must be unlocked in order to reach the third, the Castle of Transylvania. According to the ghost in the game's introduction, by right the castle belongs to Elvira.In their quest, players are able to use spells and weapons, as well as collect rune stones, food in order to replenish their health, and treasure chests. If they encounter difficulty in completing a segment of their current quest, the player may purchase information from a trader, found within each level, using rune stones as a currency.

In this board game style RPG, the kingdom of Siland is being attacked by monsters under the command of the evil Hades. You have to choose from several boards. Your movement is decided when you roll the dice. Certain squares trigger certain events, most being random battles. Your quest depends on which board you choose. There are four player characters, each with different statistics, like attack and magic. Battles are fought by rolling dice, and whoever gets the higher number gets to attack. Damage dealt depends on the stats of both characters and some other factors. You must complete all the boards to face the final boss.
Splash Lake is an action-puzzle game for the TurboGrafx-CD and PC Engine CD-ROM. The player is an ostrich named Ozzie and must walk around a grid, pecking at certain lynchpin areas of the ground in order to collapse parts of the level into the ocean. The goal is to remove all enemies by dropping the ground they're walking on. It is structurally similar to Dig Dug 2.
