The handheld version of Virtua Cop is an LCD game released by Tiger Electronics based on the arcade release of Virtua Cop. It was released as part of Tiger's short-lived "Tiger Laser Games" range, which utilises basic "light gun" controls.
Virua Cop stands as the only Sega game to receive the Laser Games treatment, although there were others for movie franchises such as Star Wars, Independence Day and Mars Attacks.
The game was also ported and released as part of the Pocket Arcade series.
The LCD version of Indy 500 is a watered-down version of the arcade game Indy 500 created by Tiger Electronics. It was released as part of the Pocket Arcade series in 1996. The following year it was re-released as Sega Raceway, presumably as the Indy 500 license had expired.
Eyewitness Dinosaur Hunter is an educational video game in the Eyewitness Virtual Reality series, developed by DK Multimedia and released for Windows and MacOS in 1996.
Legends of Kesmai (LOK) was among the first successful graphical multi-player online role-playing games. It was based on a slightly stripped down version of Island of Kesmai with 2D sprites replacing IoK's roguelike pseudo-graphics, and was available for play at America Online and GameStorm. Prior to that, Kesmai corporation ran a long open beta for the game, as well as hosting the game for a short period of time in the mid 1990s. In 1999 Electronic Arts bought Kesmai and in 2000 closed the business.
