Ground Control is set in the 25th century. Mankind emerged from the devastation of the Third World War (known in the game as "The Sixteen-minutes War", which almost wiped out the whole of humanity) and managed to colonize several planets across the galaxy. The Earth is ruled by a council called GCC (Global Central Command) that is formed by elected representatives and representatives of the mega corporations which rose to power after the fall of the Terran nations.
The game's plot revolves around the conflict between the Crayven Corporation and the Order of the New Dawn for the possession of the distant world of Krig 7-B. In the beginning of the game, the player assumes the role of Major Sarah Parker of the Crayven Corporation as she leads the Crayven forces in order to eliminate the presence of the "Dawnies" (her derogatory nickname in reference to followers of the Order). In the second campaign, the player assumes control of Deacon Jarred Stone in his attempt to drive the "Crays" from the surface of Krig 7-B. Dur
Grand Prix 3 (GP3) is a computer racing simulator by MicroProse. Released in 2000 by Hasbro Interactive featuring the 1998 Formula One season (with all drivers except Jacques Villeneuve, who is instead replaced by a fictional character, John Newhouse). The game wasn't quite as well received as its predecessors, but at the time was widely considered to be the best racing simulation available.
An add-on to the game, called GP3-2000 or GP32k, was released by Hasbro which updated the game to the 2000 Formula One season. A few other changes were made as well including: updated damage physics including damage from on-circuit debris, improved AI, a new replay system, and EAX 3D-sound.
Since the release of Grand Prix 4, the GP3 modding scene has slowly declined, and with the cracking of track editing for GP4 many track modders left GP3 for the newer title.
The first entry in the acclaimed Combat Mission series, Beyond Overlord is a hybrid turn-based/real-time tactical simulation which focuses on military engagements fought on the north-western European front of World War II from the days immediately following the invasion of Normandy up until the war's end in May of 1945.
Instead of a car, like in most racing games, you control a Fighter Jet Plane.
The game features two game modes: arcade and N.GEN. In the arcade mode you play a serious of championships. Winning a championship grants you access to a higher one. In N.GEN mode you start with a poor plane and have to earn money to upgrade it so you can participate in more challenging and more rewarding races. You can choose between arcade or professional controls.
The planes can shoot various weapons, such as missiles, rockets and guns at the opponents. There are 38 jets to fly in on 14 different tracks.
In Two player mode you can play Powerball. Here each player has to try and pick up the ball and score points by flying through drones.
Beatmania Featuring: Dreams Come True is a rhythm game developed by Konami. It is the tenth game in the beatmania series and is part of the BEMANI franchise.
The game is played with a controller with one turn table and 5 keys, three white and two black. On the screen you will see bars moving from the top to bottom in columns representing each of the keys and the turntable. When the bars reach the judgement line it is time to scratch.
The only release in the series to be devoted to a single artist, the J-POP band Dreams Come True. Because of this, artist information is omitted from the song select screen. It is the only beatmania arcade version to feature song previews on the song select. A special mode called MONKeY LIVE is introduced, it acts as EXPERT mode in earlier mixes but has a small MONKeY LIVE section between songs which lets you earn back a bit of lost gauge. None of the songs have an ANOTHER chart.
The entire song list is dedicated to Dreams Come True, which means the game has a total of 18 tracks. Th
