Dance Fest takes the standard 'bemani' formula - arrows appear rhythmically on screen and the player must hit the corresponding button (on either a dance mat peripheral or the standard controller) in time with these arrows and the music. Points are awarded for accuracy with bonus multipliers awarded for making certain 'combos' (mini-routines within a song which are deemed especially difficult or long). This is a game for one or two players with three difficulty settings, easy, hard and medium. The player selects their difficulty level and their track and then attempts to score points by hitting the correct buttons in sequence. During the song the player is treated to an distant view of an animated disco dancer on a stage and illuminated with coloured lights. Once the track is over the player can enter their name, assuming they have achieved a high score. The first "catch up" Japanese Dance Dance Revolution title. Most of the songlist consists of new Konami originals from Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX and Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME CS (America), along with a few new licenses, some of the licenses from Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME CS (America), some old Konami original DDR songs, and two new KONAMI originals. Song list as a result has a large emphasis on Bemani crossovers than most Japanese CS DDR releases. Of the 55 Konami originals in DDR FESTIVAL, only 19 are original DDR songs/original remixes. Also, it is the only Japanese DDR without Dancemania licenses, hence no Dancemania advertisement is featured in the attract mode.
Cambrian QTS - Kaseki ni Nattemo is an adventure game that is about a strange creatures that became extinct long ago that are discovered by chance in the South Pacific last year, they were successfully commercialized as pets with the name of Cambrian QTS. The new species grows into an aquarium filled with special seawater, as they grow hatched from an egg.
During the day the player can talk to various people in the town, the school, or home. Knowledge and sometimes get training items for his QTS, but also to gather information in preparation for the training mode communication whe he returns to his room. The other part of the game is about raising the QT.
The game features japanese voice acting for all the characters and an unlockable gallery that will be avaliable once the game is completed.
Cafe Lindbergh is a small restaurant famous for its tea, coffee, pastry, and sandwiches, and has become very popular by word-of-mouth for its atmosphere. Harutoshi Fukui, the author of the base novel, personally planned the screenplay for Boukoku no Aegis 2035. The game presents an original sequel to this continuity which has not been referenced in his other works.
You play as 10 year old boy Tokio who lives in a typical, small Japanese town during the Showa period (1950s). Tokio spends 30 days walking through the town, talking to people, and collecting items. The game lets you experience a bygone period of Japan.
