The War of the Worlds is a 1-player strategy war game for the Atari 8-bit. Based on the H.G. Wells novel, you control infantry, cavalry, and artillery units in combat against an alien invasion. Played on a terrain map, your troops can move quickly by rail. Each turn, alien cylinders or reinforcements may arrive.
