Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!! is a Super Famicom sequel to Data East's arcade fighting game series, featuring a story mode where Mizoguchi travels throughout the world to battle a mysterious masked figure (who Data East fans probably already know). It's the third game in the Fighter's History series, and the last one published by Data East.
The game was initially released only in Japan for the Super Famicom on February 17, 1995, under the title of "Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!!". In 2017, Retro-Bit published the game for the international release as part of their compilation Data East Classic Collection, under the new title of "Fighter's History 2".

Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon are at their Manhattan hideout plotting their next caper, when suddenly a large masked man bursts in. The man is escorted by a woman who proceeds to tell Lupin and the others that Fujiko has been kidnapped and is being held prisoner at one of the skyscrapers downtown. In order to get her back they must find the fountain of youth. When the two leave, Lupin decides to go and rescue Fujiko himself and sets off to save her. When arrives he discovers that the building is crawling with police, all under the command of Zenigata... so Lupin must enter through the building's ventilation to find Fujiko.
Released just 5 weeks after "Final Bout" and due to difficulty criticism, Human's "Easy Type" sadly removed the Wrestler Edit feature altogether but did bring the 8 legendary wrestler unlocked from the start. The timing on the grapples was far more forgiving, make the game much easier to play against the CPU. A curious update but there is a lack of the Wrestler Edit mode.
