The Tamagotchi Meets: Sweets version was released in Japan in November 2019. It features two new locations and seven new and returning characters: Dolce Town (Amamelotchi, Himedolcetchi, Hotcaketchi, and Patitchi) and Wagashi Village (Himeamachatchi, Tsubuanonetchi, and Wagassiertchi).
The Tamagotchi Meets: Fantasy version was released in Japan in July 2019. It features the Magical Flying Library Ship and allows access to three new locations with six new marriage partners: Princess Palace (Prince Mametchi and Loveli Princess), Arabian Night (Meloarabian and Lamppatchi), and Wonder Garden (Yumemi Alice and Kirari Hatter).
The Tamagotchi Meets: Sanrio Characters version was released in Japan in June 2019. It features most of the m!xable Sanrio characters from the Sanrio m!x, in addition to several new additions such as Kuromi and Keroppi, and several exclusive locations such as the Strawberry Kingdom and Mariland.
The Tamagotchi Meets: Pastel version was released in Japan in March 2019. It features two new locations with five new marriage partners Easter Land (Eggbasketchi, Piyotamausatchi, Tamaladytchi, and Tamaboytchi) and Flower Garden (Flower Fleur, Yotsubatchi, and Butterflytchi).
The Tamagotchi On is a color-screened Tamagotchi, released on November 23, 2018 in Japan, and in the USA on July 28, 2019. It is the successor to the Tamagotchi m!x, having similar functions but with new features and characters, and the first color-screen Tamagotchi to be released in North America.
The Magic version was one of the first two released, it features exclusive access to Magic Land, and therefore the only theme where interacting with and marrying Majoritchi and Korobatchi is possible.

The Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus Cyoi Change is a version of the Entama following complaints that the games were too difficult for new players. It is visually distinguished from the original by having "plus"-shaped beads instead of round beads.
Tamagotchi m!x Dream m!x version is distinguished from other versions of the Tamagotchi m!x by its heart-shaped crystal above the screen. It features exclusive access to Dream Town, Yumemitchi, and Kiraritchi. An updated rerelease in 2018 also includes Pianitchi.
Tamagotchi m!x Anniversary Gift m!x version is a special version of the Tamagotchi m!x released in a gift set, this features all of the same locations as the 20th Anniversary version, but also includes exclusive access to Present Island and its characters.
Tamagotchi m!x Sanrio m!x version a special licensed variant of the Tamagotchi m!x which includes exclusive access to Mariland, Twin Stars Land, and Puroland, and the ability to interact with and marry Sanrio characters.
The Tamagotchi mix 20th Anniversary mix version is a commemorative version of the Tamagotchi mix released celebrating Tamagotchi's anniversary. It features access to Professor Banzo's Laboratory, Makkakka Town, Uratama Town, and the Gotchi King's Castle.
Tamagotchi m!x is a color-screened Tamagotchi released exclusively in Japan on July 16, 2016. It introduces the m!x feature which allows the user to create Tamagotchis that are a mix of their parent's features. The Spacy mix version features exclusive access to Spacy Land and its characters.

Tamagotchi iD L Princess Spacy ver. is based around the new main Tamagotchi character, Himespetchi. It was released in March 2012, and only comes in a black and pink shell.
The Tamagotchi iD L 15th Anniversary Version is the limited edition fifteenth anniversary Tamagotchi iD L. It was released on November 23, 15 years after Tamagotchi first debuted. It comes in two colors, Royal Pink and Royal Purple, and has 11 new characters added. The baby, child, and teen characters return from previous entries in the Tamagotchi series. The new adult characters were pulled from the top rankings of a popularity poll featuring vintage, plus era, and anime-exclusive characters. There are also new locations and Henshin Jo transformations.
Tamagotchi iD L is a Tamagotchi virtual pet, the 3rd verison to have a full-color screen. It is the successor to the Tamagotchi iD, and includes new features and up to 32 new characters. As with the iD, it is based on the concurrently-airing Tamagotchi! Anime. The L stands for many words - Life, Link, Live, Love, Leader and Limited.
Tamagotchi iD Conan ver. is a rare, limited edition Tamagotchi iD that was given away with every subscriber issue of the Shōnen Sunday Manga Magazine, issue 3000. They have a dark blue shell and red gem. This version has characters from the Detective Conan series which players can talk to in a new destination, and Conan versions of the ID games that could be downloaded from the official website.
