In development by Bits Studios, RiQa was shown at E3 1999 and appeared to be heavily inspired by PlayStation title, Tomb Raider. It was a third-person perspective action and exploration game starring a female protagonist.
The game was only shown once, and then was delayed several times before being dropped, with very few details provided. However, it is believed that Bits Studios later used elements from RiQa in its multiformat 2003 title Rogue Ops.
Some prototype builds were dumped and released onto the internet on April 2024.
Super Mario Sunshine 64 is a ROM hack/mod of Super Mario 64 developed by Kaze Emanuar. This mod adapts part of Super Mario Sunshine stages and story for Super Mario 64. The mod was supposed to adapt the whole game, but was cancelled before completion.
Bowser's Dark Story is a ROM hack/mod of Paper Mario. The game is an alternative take on the story, from the perspective that tells how it would be if Bowser won against Mario and conquered the Mushroom Kingdom. The player controls the villain, Bowser, through an adventure, finding allies and battling enemies.

Mirror House Cornflake is a tech demo for the Nintendo 64. It was found in the source code leak that took place on May 3, 2020. It's a game about a very hungry boy lost in an amusement park maze looking for food.
Twelve Tales: Conker 64 (known in the PAL regions as Twelve Tales Conker) is a cancelled video game that was going to be released for the Nintendo 64. First announced as Conker's Quest at E3 1997, the game would have followed the all ages environment of Conker's Pocket Tales, a handheld title released during its prolonged development cycle.
Before the game could be finished, Rare had already made similar games that had already achieved general acclaim, most notably Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing. The developers began to receive criticism for creating another innocent platformer starring cute and friendly animals. In 1999, Rareware revealed that they were going to entirely redesign the game to appeal to an older audience.
While it was first believed to be an April Fool's joke, the game went unreleased and replaced with Conker's Bad Fur Day in 2001.
Toon Panic was a multiplayer brawler / arcade fighting game for Nintendo 64, in development at Bottom Up. It was meant to be similar to Power Stone or Rakugaki ShowTime, but it was later cancelled because of bankruptcy of the studio.
Dinosaur Planet was a game originally developed by Rare and set to be published by Nintendo, planned for release on the Nintendo 64, but later intended for the Nintendo GameCube instead. It was cancelled in its original form, rebranded and incorporated Star Fox characters, becoming Star Fox Adventures.
A late prototype was found and dumped onto the internet in March, 2021.
Mario 64 x Banjo Kazooie is a romhack of Super Mario 64 currently being developed by Kaze Emanuar. It intends to port Banjo-Kazooie levels to the Super Mario 64 engine and gameplay.
Velvet Dark is a canceled project that was planned as a sequel or spin-off of Perfect Dark.
The game was designed as a third-person stealth action game following Velvet Dark, Joanna Dark's sister though the relation wasn't stated in Perfect Dark.
Velvet appears as the co-op character in Perfect Dark.

The table of contents page of a design document for the game, dated the 30th of October 2000, was revealed on twitter by Gregg Mayles in 2015.
Compatibility with the Game Boy Advance was planned, probably similar to the way content in Perfect Dark could be unlocked with a connection to the Game Boy Color game, also titled Perfect Dark.
This would also mean there were plans for a Game Boy Advance companion game of some kind, though no work on a connected title has been revealed.
Developed by an unknown team under Marigul Management, a video of a game called CatRoots was displayed at E3 2000, but no details were made available.
The video shows a red, cartoon cat running from a homicidal mouse attacking it with weapons, including a hammer, ninja stars and a flamethrower. At the end of the video, the cat is pinned and defeated by the mouse's pointed tail, and a Game Over sign is shown, suggesting you played as the cat.
The game was never shown or mentioned again.
A cancelled Nintendo 64 action-adventure game by Konami. The premise was to see a human captive aboard and alien spacecraft mount an escape. Its only public showing came during E3 1998.
Hasbro Interactive had planned to release a sequel to Glover which had a boxing glove character and was to be released in 2000 named Glover 2 but the idea was scrapped, though gameplay videos and pictures about the game surfaced on nesworld.com, which discovered a work-in-progress version of the game.

Tamiya Racing 64 is a tech demo for a racing game (presumably the similarly unreleased Mini Racers) with licensed remote-controlled cars, featuring very sensitive controls and vacuum cleaner engine sounds. It was developed by Intermetrics, associated with Looking Glass Studios.
The water-based arcade racer will offer six different characters to choose from as well as three different kayak types, each with their own respective strengths and weaknesses. Wildwater will send up to two players down six perilous river courses, highlighted by realistic water physics and eye-popping graphics.
