Surf Ninjas was created as a tie-on for the 1993 New Line Cinema movie of the same name and is loosely based on its content. The entire introduction of how the surfers discover they are the sons of a Patusani king is not mentioned and instead the player is thrown in the story as a ninja trainee right away. Colonel Chi wants to overthrow the kingdom and kill the last heirs, so he sends troops of ninjas to kill the two brothers.
Players control one of the brothers as he travels through different locations such as the Palace restaurant, the docks at Venice (California), the island of Patu San and more. The 2D side-scrolling platforms missions contains platforms, enemies and ninjas and various hazards. One button is used to jump while the other, in combination with the D-pad, launches punches, kicks, throws and various combos. Attacks can also be performed from the air or using very high jumps.
During gameplay an options screen can be accessed to review the statistics (health, strength, reflex and fight), get a hint
Madou Monogatari I: 3tsu no Madoukyuu is a role-playing game for the Sega Game Gear released as part of Compile's Madou Monogatari series, specifically in the first "1-2-3" entry. A different version of this game was released on the Mega Drive Madou Monogatari I.
World Series Baseball is a baseball game for one or two players. It is the first entry in Sega's franchise of the same name and the first baseball game of its generation with a full MLB license. Teams and players are based on the 1993 season: all 28 teams including the expansion teams Colorado and Florida, as well as the two All-Star teams are included.
Gameplay and options are similar to the previous year's The Majors: Pro Baseball. Exhibition games, two-player matchups via Gear-to-Gear cable, and a full season (of either 32, 84, 123 or 162 games) including playoffs and World Series championship are available. Also returning is the option to edit one's own team, with two team slots for saving to battery-backed RAM. Three different stadiums (open, turf and dome) can be selected and pitcher and batter order be freely set.
Gameplay follows the standard model: players control all aspects of play, from a view behind the batter for batting and pitching and an overhead view of the field for running and fielding. On off
Power Strike II is a shoot 'em up for the Sega Game Gear in Compile's Aleste series and the sequel to GG Aleste.
Not to be confused with Power Strike II for the Sega Master System.
Jeopardy! is a conversion of the long-running TV quiz show where the answers are given and contestants must provide the questions. Compared to the Genesis version released a year earlier, the Game Gear version features only about half the number of questions, and replaces the console version's photo-realistic style with a more cartoon-like approach.

America's favorite game show is now bigger and better than ever on the Sega Game Gear. This all-new version features the beautiful Vanna White, and over 4500 new puzzles. Choose the contestant you want to be, play against the computer, or against up to two friends. Spin the wheel, buy a vowel, or attempt to solve the puzzle. Only Vanna White knows what lies behind the tiles. Watching you favorite game show is fun, but GAMETEK'S WHEEL OF FORTUNE puts you right on the stage.
The game has an unusual naming scheme. In Japan there were no issues, as the game was published by SIMS themselves. In North America and PAL regions however, publishing rights were given to Tengen, who altered many of the in-game banners and renamed the game Tengen World Cup Soccer, even though the majority of the work was done by SIMS.
The game offers 24 different national teams from across the world, although the choices aren't based on any official tournament from the era. For 1993 the list is quite out of date; the Federal Republic of Germany (more commonly known as West Germany) had not existed since 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Russia is represented with the flag of the Soviet Union which dissolved in late 1991, and Yugoslavia had ceased to exist by mid-1992.
Street Hero is a Streets of Rage style side scrolling beat-em-up, offering plenty of action for Sega's handheld. Although the Sega Master System version of the game saw release in Korea, it is one considerable rarity that very few have actually seen. This fact is only strengthened by the knowledge that until February 2012, no ROM of the game existed online in any form. A real shame given the high level of quality of gameplay which has come from the usually disappointing array of 8-bit Korean developers.
Your task is to rescue the Lemmings across 120 levels of fast-paced puzzling. These creatures simply walk blindly through the world in the hope of reaching safety at the end of the level - unfortunately, these levels include steep drops, gaps in the ground, barriers, and rivers amongst other hazards.
You are in control not of any individual Lemming, but of a cross-hair, which can be moved over any of the Lemmings. Along the bottom is a selection of functions that can be assigned to a Lemming, including climbing, floating, and bashing. You must click to select the appropriate function, then click on the Lemming to activate it. Each level has a different range of skills on offer, a different amount of Lemmings, and a different percentage target in order to progress.
A Game Gear port of Chankan: The Forever Man for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis.
The game featured an uncommonly dark premise for the time of its release, which saw the home console market flooded with licensed platformers based on family-friendly media.
It is based upon a comic book by Robert A. Kraus and was produced by Ed Annunziata, who met Chakan's creator at a convention and was impressed.
