Segapede is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive action game that was being developed by Sega Technical Institute in 1994. The game was never officially released and wasn't known until gameplay footage and materiel was put online by developer Craig Stitt, who would later dump the rom online for Hidden Palace.
The only existing prototype rom is notable for reusing graphics from Hidden Palace Zone, a removed zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. According to Craig Stitt, these assets were used as placeholder graphics during development.

Ninja Gaiden for the Sega Genesis is a port of Ninja Gaiden that was set to be published by Sega under license from Tecmo. It was scheduled to be released sometime in 1992 but was cancelled for mysterious reasons.
Bio Evil is a brand new and original game for the SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis. A true 16-bit, nostalgic platforming experience running on genuine SEGA hardware, that will make fans of SEGA's golden era feel warm and fuzzy.
Similar games simply do not exist on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. And, there aren't that many isometric games for the console, either.
Now, based on this engine, we will try to create a full-fledged game. Naturally, we will have to work hard, but I hope that we will succeed.
Sonic 1 Definitive is a hack named by RadiantNexus Team, which seeks to reimagine Sonic 1 by rearranging levels. remixing music, adding features from future games, and readding scrapped ideas in new and interesting ways.

Payne Stewart Pro Golf is an unreleased golf game for the Sega Mega Drive set to be published by Time Warner Interactive.
The game demoed at Winter CES 1995 with a tenative Spring 1995 release date. The project was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Nuclear Rush is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive tank combat game for use with the Sega VR headset, developed by FutureScape Productions and slated to be published by Sega. Intended to be the hardware’s pack-in game, it features gameplay similar to Battlezone and Stellar-Fire.

It Came from the Desert is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game developed by Cinemaware, and was due to be published by Electronic Arts in 1992. Though it shares a similar intro, it is in fact an entirely different game from other versions of It Came from the Desert released for the IBM PC, Amiga and TurboGrafx-CD, being a top-down action game rather than a point and click adventure.
According to programmer Matthew Harmon (brought in from New World Computing), the game was "99.99%" complete before cancellation, citing a rare bug which caused the game to crash as the reason the game was not complete. He also suggests that the reason the game was axed was due to EA's policy to concentrate more on sports titles (though it quickly backed away from this strategy). The game was shown at the Winter CES 1992. Cinemaware released the "99.99%" finished prototype ROM of the game as freeware on 2001-12-17.
Cascade was originally developed by Epyx, and initially slated for release only in Japan for the Mega Drive. Super Fighter Team acquired full copyright to this game and released it worldwide in 2015.
