A match-3 game for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis. Match 3 blocks or more of the same color to earn points as many as possible before the time runs out!
A horizontal shmup and sequel to the Jaleco arcade game P-47, originally developed for Genesis/Mega Drive but cancelled before release. This is a finished version published as a physical repro cartridge by City Connection and Retro-Bit.
The version of Out of This World (Another World) released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive was ported by Interplay. This version, like the SNES port, was made more difficult, including more enemies, since it was normal for console games to be difficult in order to take longer to beat. It runs faster than the SNES port, but has less colors.
A similar version would later be released for the Sega CD, with a new soundtrack, bundled alongside its sequel, Heart of the Alien.
This project was characterized by its high-quality visual overhaul, including custom-designed level art, redesigned Badniks, and a unique HUD although the hack was cancelled during early development.
Sonic Debut is a ROM hack of the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. The project reimagines the game by integrating prototype and concept material from Sonic's early development rather than aiming for a retail-accurate remake. It features significant mechanical shifts, such as replacing the traditional ring-based health system with a Hit Point (HP) counter and requiring a double-tap of the jump button to enter a rolling state.
In this unique, gimmick-based ROM Hack of Sonic The Hedgehog, you can use your mouse pointer to interact with objects in a variety of ways. Hovering over Rings to magnetize them to Sonic, picking up & throwing monitors to break them apart, & clicking on springs to bounce the cursor away are just a few ways you can interact with the world around you. Be careful though, not everything you mouse over or click will be so friendly to you.
