The Sega Mega Drive continues to see support from independent developers well into the 2020s, with Death & Lead being one of the latest titles announced for the platform. Developed by Kai Magazine Software, Death & Lead is a Western-themed, run-and-gun arcade shooter targeting original Mega Drive hardware, with a release window set for late 2025
The Secret of the Four Winds is a Japanese-style action role-playing game.
The cartridge contains a custom board with an audio enhancement chip that offers the possibility to enjoy the game with Sega CD / Mega-CD music quality (No actual Sega CD / Mega-CD is required). This game will make use of that audio chip but it can also be played with the console's original audio if desired.
The player will control 3 different characters at the same time (the player can control any of the 3 characters at any time and the other characters will be controlled by the CPU). The player can give orders and priorities to the other characters at any time so the companions do what we need them to do.
The gameplay is deep, with some strategy and tactics, character development at will (grow a given character as a tank or as an attacker or healer, etc.). The story also begins simple and quite typical, but it will evolve and change quite a lot. The decisions you make during the game will have consequences.
The game should take around
ColocoDX (Cosmos Orbital Landing Outer Crash Officer DELUXE) is the expanded edition of the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC video game Coloco, originally released in 2020 by Tuxedo Gamedevs.
The game puts you at the controls of a rescue ship tasked with navigating caves, space facilities, and other harsh environments to locate crash sites, pick up downed pilots, and bring them back to base safe and sound. All the while, you’ll weave through mazes, traps, and enemies, and clear blocked passages using a variety of tools—always managing the ship’s inertia, the true heart of the gameplay.
The Genesis/Mega Drive port of "Master of Monsters".
Master of Monsters is a turn-based strategy game developed by SystemSoft for the MSX and NEC PC8801. It was ported to a variety of consoles and PCs including the PC Engine CD, NEC PC9801, and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. While it never had the same success as its SystemSoft stablemate Daisenryaku, the game garnered a loyal following. Its success in the North American market on the Sega Genesis proved sufficient for a sequel on the Sega Saturn, and an anime art-style enhanced Sony PlayStation version.
A European release for Mega Drive was planned by Ubisoft but it did not materialise.
After the events of the first game mario got bored of dying so he decides to check out how the worlds like after 80 years of being dead.
This hack while being the worst, has fair enough level design (and more effort then the previous one) And its completely playable.
There are no zones in this hack! Instead all the levels are all different from eachother
There are no rings, but instead you can get a mushroom which grants 1 extra hit
you will only have 1 live but this time around you can actually gain more lives! Almost every stage has a life to collect.
The spike "feature" is still here! Well except for in 1 stage....
This along with useless gimmicks, somewhat new bosses, will make you question how romhacking has not died yet, so be ready for the romhack of all time.
This sonic the hedgehog romhack features mario instead of sonic, hard (and sometimes troll-ish) level design and music from other games. The hack itself is pretty basic but there is 1 secret level. There is also green hill act 3 which is pretty much a auto level
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a special promotional cartridge created for the Sega Genesis by Paramount Pictures to promote the then-upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film.
The cartridge was distributed to content creators on 21 November 2024, to promote the film and celebrate the release of advance tickets on 25 November 2024. Along with being a fully functional Sega Genesis game, the cartridge also includes a cheat code that, when entered, reveals the release date for the final trailer. As a result, this marked the first time since Sonic 3D Blast (1996) that an official Sonic entry for the system was released.
