Donkey Kong Plus was an updated version of the Game Boy Donkey Kong. The only known difference between the original and Plus, aside from the graphics, was the addition of a level designer to be used through the Nintendo GameCube for players to create their own levels with. However, the game vanished the following year, and was replaced by Mario vs. Donkey Kong, with the level editor gone and the graphics replaced with pre-rendered graphics. However, the game's sequel, Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis had this feature and took advantage of Wi-Fi Connection.
Game Boy Music was a rhythm game starring Barbara the Bat, which was cancelled. The game itself was a retooling of the cancelled Game Boy game called Pocket Music. Barbara the Bat would later receive a her debut in Daigassou: Band Brothers for the Nintendo DS.

Yoshi Demo is a tech demo that appeared to be a Game Boy Advance port of Yoshi's Story. It is also commonly regarded as vaporware, though it is unknown Nintendo ever had any intentions of releasing it as a full game. The first version of the demo is completely mute, but the second version contains music and sound. The demo's ROM image can only be obtained within the Game Boy Advance SDK.
First-person flight sim shooter for the GBA. The game was completed, missing a supposed multiplayer mode, But was cancelled when their publisher Cryo Interactive went bankrupt. Its rights would later be acquired by Pixel Games UK and stripped of all direct references to Dune; Renamed "Elland: The Crystal Wars".
Mario Kart XXL is a Game Boy Advance tech demo created by Denaris Entertainment Software for Nintendo in 2004. It demonstrates the Game Boy Advance's ability to render and scale/rotate two different background layers.
Chinese Game Boy Advance prototype by iQue. This cartridge was sent to the Chinese government for review when there was still a ban on video games. The game itself is a compilation of the Japanese "Famicom Mini" releases into a single cartridge. It was never released.
Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers is a canceled puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance and a Donkey Kong spinoff title. The game was developed by Rare Ltd., and was originally planned for a November 2001 release date. It was likely postponed ahead of time due to the forthcoming acquisition from Microsoft in 2002. However, the game was eventually converted into It's Mr. Pants, released in late 2004.
Some of the planned modes included various challenges around Donkey Kong Island, challenges from Cranky Kong, and a multiplayer mode.
