In the future the world is a very bleak place, where the major form of entertainment is the World Destruction League. The League travels throughout the world hosting competitions, in which the contestants try to blow each other to little bits while riding in tanks. You are one of the contestants, and can play as any of 12 competitors with unique tanks and weapons. Compete in 35 competitions in seven different arenas, each arena filled with buildings and other obstacles. However, you can create "short cuts" by blasting the obstacles out of the way. Throughout the game, you can use over 20 different weapons and four power-ups to destroy the competition. Will you be able to survive the competition of WORLD DESTRUCTION LEAGUE: Thunder Tanks?
Although Metal Walker is a console RPG, battles are fought in a pinball or billiards-like atmosphere in a top-down perspective arena. As each turn of the battle starts, players decide which direction a Metal Walker will move and how hard they will move. Players are encouraged to form strategies that allow Metal Walkers to hit a single enemy, bounce off a wall, and then hit another enemy, all in a single turn. On the battlefield, players can throw several different types of items onto the field. The items are used when a Metal Walker hits them. Capsules and healing items strengthen and heal Metal Walkers, whereas attack items, such as Napalm, are only useful when the enemy hits them. There also exist Analyzers, which provide the player with Scan Data for any Metal Walker that is bounced into them. Scrap metal won after the battle can then be used with the Scan Data to create new Metal Walkers or purchase items. Coming home after a long day at work, Bugs and Lola find their garden ransacked and all of their carrots stolen. Now the two must explore the Warner Bros. Lot to discover the identity of the carrot thief. You guide the bunnies through five worlds, collecting carrots that will allow the characters use special powers like the ability to walk on thin air and using their ears as a helicopter propeller. The two can also collect Super Carrots that will allow them to use their powers longer and Habanero Carrots that make them invincible. The player must switch between the Bugs and Lola to solve puzzles with each character's special skills. Try to find the carrot thief in Looney Tunes: Carrot Crazy.
Alex "Action Man" Mann makes a stop over onto the Game Boy Color where once again he must stop the world from falling into the clutches of the evil Dr. X. The player takes control of Action Man as they travel through seven different levels ranging for jungles to the Arctic, battling an army of robots with a variety of weapons and battle suits in search of Base X and stop Dr. X from launching a terrifying new weapon that could very well bring an end to the world.
The gameplay is a standard side-scrolling action platformer where the player advances throughout the level, destroying enemies and avoiding pit falls. Along the way they can pick up more powerful guns as well as a bow and arrow and even different suits that can help them on their quest. Additionally, players can find these weapons and suits by taking different paths throughout the levels.
Now when you can't get out to the lake, you can go fishing on your Game Boy Color with Bassmasters Classic. Choose from a variety of lures and hit your favorite fishing hole. You cast the line by stopping a power meter at one of five positions more power equals more distance. After you cast the line, you must wait for a fish to strike. When it does, get ready for a fight. Once you get the fish to the boat the game is not over, as you must stick you hand into the water and grab the catch. If you can't get a hold of it within three tries, you'll be telling stories about the one that got away. All of this action takes place in Practice and Tournament modes.
