Donkey Kong 5: The Journey of Over Time and Space is a bootleg game for the Game Boy Color. It is a clone of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, also released for the Game Boy Color (but it is not a hack).
The goal of this romhack is to be the ultimate Pokémon Crystal experience for fans, a remaster of sorts: same story (with a few new scenes and dialogue), same Pokémon, same world (with some restored and improved areas), but the game is more playable, balanced and challenging. There’s extra content added too as well as many QoL improvements from music to sprite work to brand new features and battle system improvements!
An improved, polished version of Pokémon Crystal.
It fixes bugs, takes into account the official game changes since 2001, and adds some new ideas. Many features restore what was removed from R/B/Y, or original to HG/SS.
Link's Awakening Redux is a hack that commemorates the release of the Link’s Awakening Remake, combining three of the most essential improvement hacks out there, and also implementing full uncensorship for Link’s Awakening DX to make the experience of the game much more enjoyable and without the annoyances of the original.
Wing Warriors is a fast paced shoot ‘em up, featuring three playable characters that promote different strategies as you try to conquer the game’s six stages and three boss battles. The game also features a score saving feature, and is playable in English, French, and Spanish.
Talk about playing cat and mouse! Tom and Jerry, that rascally pair of cartoon characters who first started their careers in the 1940s, have chased each other onto the screen of the Game Boy Color. You play Jerry, on the lookout for nephew Tuffy, who's coming to visit you. Lurking around, of course, is Tom, who would just love to sink his sharp fangs into a mouse morsel. You must try to find Tuffy before Tom does--and before Tom finds you. You'll explore 10 different levels, such as Street and Rooftops, in four distinct worlds.
There are bonus areas to each level in Tom and Jerry, so be sure to look out for those too while searching for Tuffy. Sprinkled throughout the levels are numerous power-ups (yum... cheese!) that add to your overall score, as well as an optional card-match game between each level that can mean extra points too. Also, the game trumpets the original Tom and Jerry theme song while you play.
This is essentially Master Quest for Link’s Awakening (DX). The dungeon maps are the same as in the original with different layouts, some minor modifications made to the overworld, some edited text for better or worse, and new uses for a few items not utilized in the original.
Made in Game Boy studio 3.0.3, play a small segment of the catacombs and enjoy skeletons, bats and bone pillars getting in your way as you attempt to level up and farm candles for random drops of hearts, healing potions and the knife sub weapon.
The handheld version of the 1999 Space Invaders for consoles. Developed by Crawfish Interactive, it features different graphics and power-ups, a password system to access levels and an exclusive soundtrack. The player can choose between three different ships to control, a first in the series. There's also a dash mechanic, enabled by double tapping left or right.
The game has link cable support for two player action and is compatible with both Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
The Game Boy Color game is a scaled-down version of the Saturn/3DO/PS game with the only puzzles and morph icons being the ones required to reach the ending and the sound and graphics are rendered for handheld.
