It's finally time for the completion of the CRE trilogy!
Samus ends up inside of the CRE tileset, filled with janky art, for the final time.
Now with custom stuff!
This is going to be a mini/fullhack mostly resembling Searching For Items. Based mostly on exploration and finding items, which I intend to hide very well, making 100% a very hard goal to reach. But this is also to help out with mine and DSO's main hack, Fear is my platform for trying a whole bunch of odd and wacky stuff which might make it in our main project.
Digital Cube is a romhack for Super Metroid, widely influenced by movies Cube/Hypercube/Cube Zero. In the movies, some people wake up trapped in a giant cube with multiples cubic rooms, with different color and numbers. Some rooms are deadly traps, like acids, spikes, sound pressure, etc. This hack is based one the same concept : 49 pain-in-arse square rooms. Good Luck to exit !
Super Metroid: Airy is a full hack for Super Metroid. The map has been completely changed in this patch. Also, you can shoot more rapidly with your weapon plus you will notice you can jump with the effect your body is more lighter than in a usual play through, hence the name of the title, Airy.
It’s Pride Month, and a group of crystals called Pix are planning to cancel the Pride Month celebrations for all eternity! Mario must defeat them before it’s too late!
Inspired by the movie cube, this hack was made as one giant dungeon, which has 10×10 Hyrule Magic rooms. Thus the entire game is one big dungeon, which you need to solve in one sitting and no deaths. Can you do it? Can you find the exit?
This is a short hack, which will sometimes force you to think hard before you will be able to progress, but for the most part is still on par with the difficulty of the original game, with hints when special tricks are needed to progress.
The final installment of the IQ series, The Revenge of the Einstein, includes some of the most difficult block puzzles ever created in a Zelda game. The already existing puzzles from the IQ and Conker, which were considered to be of a better design, were used in this game and remodeled to be even more difficult, yet some rare puzzles are brand new.
A very short hack with very difficult riddles, which will test the limits of your intellect, while still being beatable if you invest enough time into solving. The hack also has some “breathing rooms”, in which you don’t need to think much to proceed.
Cook your way to the top by beating eight exciting stages alone or with up to three friends in this action-packed new title for your SNES inspired by Ghost Town Games' Overcooked!
Play as Birdo the pink dinosaur and help her free yoshi from the evil wart, who is trying to cook yoshi´s eggs!
Travel through the world and defeat SMB1,SMB2 and SMB3 characters. Drive on a rollercoaster, jump around in space and visit wart´s personal swamp. Buy something from the shop to make you more powerfull! Find secrets in every level. And defeat the bosses from SMB2, who have sworn themself against birdo.
This patch is geared towards fixing bugs and patching up script inconsistencies or censorship. The aim is to preserve the original translation while generally improving the game as a whole.
This hack has a small overworld, but it is filled to the brim with every item in the game along with 9 dungeons in total. Every single cave and house is redesigned, and there are a bunch of graphic edits and palette changes. As with 18 Hours Past, there’s kind of a story set in place but it’s not the main focus of the game. There are some custom events though that relate to the story, so the creator at least tried to put more of a story in.
This prototype is an is an interpretation of various development phases of the game based on the Alttp prototype assets. This is not an authentic prototype nor does it represent a single or specific point of development.
This is a result of 4 months (maybe 5) of “behind the scenes” hard work, a few assembly hacks and fixes etc. This game was known as A Link To The Past and only has been renamed into A Link To The Proto for the release to stand on it’s own.
There is a lot of changes, prototype assets that made it into the game, but unfortunately due to the multiple iterations of the same tilesets and a rather limited space for graphics, only a few select ones made it into the reconstruction.
But still, there is a lot of places to explore and many unseen things to discover from the proto content that was cut from the final vanilla game by Nintendo.
