Animalia Dreamland is a small single-screen platformer for the NES. In each level you play as one of two randomly selected animals, with randomized physics. For "Three Dreams" mode you play a random three of the 17 base levels, while for "Full Game" mode you play these 17 levels, in order, followed by a final 18th level. Pressing Select on the title screen toggles "Lucid Mode", where you choose your preferred jump physics.
You are Barry Biceps. Train your arm to get stronger. Arm Wrestle through the champions of the world and collect your prize money. You have Rush adaptors and Beat from game’s start.
If you lose the game, you can go back 8 robot master’s stages even when you start Mr.X’s stage. And the progress of Mr.X and Dr.Wily’s stage is maintained.
Journey to the West: A Super Mario Bros. Rom Hack is an adaptation of the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Play as Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, or Sha Wujing as you make your journey over coming the 16 levels in the hack.
This hack is truly a brand new Zelda experience and one that is unrecognizable next to the original game. This hack is very non-linear, as the dungeons are not numbered in quest 1. The dungeons can be beaten in numerous random orders. Any region can be explored from the start, and players can get a good advantage early on by venturing to certain areas first. The second quest is the total opposite and is entirely linear. There is no possible way to beat the dungeons out of order. Just know that if Darknuts or Wizzrobes are seen in the beginning, then save that dungeon for after the others. Play wisely, exploration is rewarded.
Orebody: Sand Ripples is a short, box-pushing puzzle game for the NES. It takes place in the sci-fi fantasy world of Orebody, a planet known for its mining operations. In Sand Ripples, players control a sand squid in the Great Sand Sea Solorus, Orebody's largest desert. The Mining Cartel has threatened the delicate ecosystem of Solorus, and it's up to the sand squid to fill in their mining tunnels and foil their operations.
Play through 22 unique levels in a short and sweet box-pushing puzzle game.
MOTHER Restored is a patch for EarthBound Beginnings that aims to make it as faithful as possible to the Japanese version of MOTHER while keeping its gameplay improvements.
In this patch:
The game’s script has been completely replaced with the more accurate translation done by Tomato for MOTHER1+2, including dialogue, battle text, item and enemy descriptions, and other miscellaneous text. Unlike previous attempts to replace EarthBound Beginnings’ dialogue, this patch repoints virtually all of the text in the game. This allowed the fan translation to be included in its entirety. The main version also makes names of characters, locations, and items more accurate to what they were originally.
In Meet Me In The Parking Lot you have to fight your way through 10 Levels of random bars and parking lots worth of assholes that can’t just let you chill.
Super Depressed Bro is, as the title suggests, a game about depression. There are 8 levels that can be played in any order, but none of them have victory conditions. In other words, there is no way to beat anything. Each level has an item that you can collect, but the items are best thought of as souvenirs.
Celebrating the 35th Anniversary since the release of the original Legend of Zelda on the Famicom Disk System on February 21st, 1986; and continuing over from the Zelda II Redux hack, The Legend of Zelda Redux (or Zelda 1 Redux) aims to tackle some of the odd designs and programming decisions from the original NES classic to revitalize and give new life to the beloved and cherished classic.
This hack tries to address a lot of points to make the game fit with the rest of the series (and Zelda 2 Redux) by doing some rebalancing and QoL changes, and also some visual flare into the game, without compromising the original game’s design. Be sure to check the full Changelog inside the ReadMe file for the full list of changes made to this hack, and also don’t forget to check the optional patches too!
