A Nightmare on Elm Street is an unreleased NES game based on the film of the same name. In the game, you played as Freddy Krueger and your goal was to murder all the teens who are attempting to find your bones.
The game was developed by Rare and planned to be published by LJN, however half way through development the game was scrapped and was restructured into a completely different game, possibly due to the dark nature of the game and Nintendo's strict guidelines from the time when it came to third party releases on the NES.
Cube did not come from anywhere, in fact, Cube created the universe as we know it, the only drawback is Cube could not manifest itself.. until now. Cube conjured up every last bit of his omnipotent strength and was able to manifest in this 8-bit game. It's not much, but it's the best we could do for now.
Based on Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, GemVenture is similar puzzle game developed for the NES by Tom Livak for the PDRoms Coding Competition in 2009.
You fight against a series of monsters by swapping adjacent gems. Each match of 3 or more gems of the same color increases your mana, and special heart and spike gems heal you and/or hurt your opponent. Press select to cast spells using the mana you've gained. Your opponent will then take a turn matching gems, and you continue back and forth until only one is left standing. Defeat your opponent and level up your attributes before taking on the next foe. GemVenture features 6 character classes, 18 spells, and 20 monsters, each with their own characteristics.
The hack features a lot of new mechanics and QoL features into the original Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES. One of the most impressive technical feats that this hack offers is the ability to play as either Mario, Luigi, Toad or Peach (Princess Toadstool), similar to what Super Mario Bros. 2 did back in the day.

Kitty's Catch is a cancelled NES game created by GameTek employee David Wiebenson in his spare time. Wiebenson pitched Kitty's Catch to several publishers, all of which refused to publish the game. Eventually, several prototypes were discovered and purchased in a lot by the Nolan brothers, who released the most complete ROM to the public. Kitty's Catch is a two-player game where players control cats named Pitter and Patter, and have to catch fish with their tails. The first player to fill their bucket with fish gets a shell, and the player with the most shells at the end of the time limit wins. There are also several power-ups obtained by collecting tin cans, such as larger hooks.

Return of Donkey Kong is a canceled Nintendo Entertainment System game whose existence is attested in Nintendo of America publications from 1987 and 1988. It was featured as an upcoming game in the Official Nintendo Player's Guide in 1987.
Not much is known about the title aside from the fact that it was considered a follow-up to Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong Jr. Math and Donkey Kong 3. The two blurbs describing the game suggest that barrel-throwing would return as a mechanic, and that Donkey Kong would appear as a playable character for the first time. No images were ever shown of the game and it is not known if Return of Donkey Kong ever existed past the conceptual stage.
