Electronic Deathstyle is a well-balanced collection of 16 brand new songs and remixes for the PC Engine CD/TurboGrafx CD that makes this the perfect companion to this year's previously released PC-Engine/TG-16 and Game Boy albums 'Electronic Lifestyle' and 'Living Electronics'.
A homebrew TurboGrafx CD remake of a 1999 freeware RPG of the same name.
Mysterious Song is an RPG strongly influenced by the style of the early Final Fantasy games. Your character is a knight, sent by the king to investigate the trouble arising in the land, with the help of two other party members whom you pick up as you travel. The combat is turn-based, with a very simple magic system based on spell points. One party member is a mage, one specializes in physical combat, and your main character is a mix. There is no class selection, only leveling up.
The last commercial release for PC-Engine (TurboGrafx) CD, Dead of the Brain, is a compilation of the two adventure game titles, previously released for MSX and PC-98
This installment of Shiawase Usagi abandons the heroines of the two previous games in favor of characters curiously named after Neon Genesis Evangelion heroes: the protagonist is called Shinji, the love interests Misato and Asuka, etc. The plot, however, has little to do with that of the anime series: the hero is a young man who is watching a porn movie and decides to get some real "action". Afterwards, it becomes a series of sexual encounters, which proceed depending on the player's choices.
Being a visual novel, the game can develop into different directions story-wise. The only gameplay consists of deciding where to go and/or what to do. Depending on the player's decisions, the story will be concluded with various endings, "happy" as well as "bad".
You control a cute little duck walking around a maze, collecting eggs and powerups. When your eggs hatch, they head for your home, and bring you points (sometimes bonus points too). Of course, you can always disrupt the efforts of the other players, and there are other perils in the game. So, the object of the game is basically to hatch the most eggs & get the chicks to your home before anyone else... There are 3 worlds, each containing 10 levels which are all selectable at anytime... The game follows much the same look & feel as the Bomberman series, similarly, it allows up to 4 simultaneous players for multi-barrels of fun.
Tecmo World Cup Super Soccer is quite different from the similarly-named Tecmo World Cup Soccer. In this football (soccer) game players can choose between competing for the World Cup or participating in the Japanese league tournament. Only eight international teams (Brazil, Argentine, Japan, England, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany) are available. Before a match begins players can choose between three general strategies for the team - normal, offensive, or defensive. Weather conditions (normal, rain, or snow) and match length can be selected as well. The game itself is played from a third-person perspective that slightly switches between isometric and top-down depending on the situation.
Sorcery Kindergarten has very strict requirements for graduation. Indeed, this year, only one person even qualified to take the final exam at all: six-year-old Arle Nadja, who now faces the daunting task of climbing the monster-infested Magic Tower and retrieving the three Magic Orbs hidden within in order to graduate. What trials await Arle inside the Tower? Can she pass the test, or will she be doomed to another year of kindergarten?
Madou Monogatari I: Honoo no Sotsuenji (Sorcery Saga I: The Fiery Kindergarten Graduation) is a 1996 dungeon crawler for the PC-Engine Super CD-ROM² system. It's a remake of the first game in the Madou Monogatari series, originally developed by Compile for the MSX2 computer and subsequently ported to several other platforms. The various ports differ wildly from each other, sometimes to the point of being almost completely different games; though the PC-Engine version is based on the original home computer editions, it adds high-quality cutscenes, CD audio, near-full voice acting, a
The PC-Engine CD port features full voice work with a cast consisting entirely of professional voice actors, and also includes character-unique chain phrases.
The sequel to Shinsetsu Shiawase Usagi features the same characters: the nameless main hero and the two school girls: Yuki and Mary. The gameplay is similar to the previous game, the player being allowed only to make a choice occasionally.
Tengai Makyou: Kabuki Ittou Ryoudan is a fighting video game and the seventh game in the Tengai Makyou series. It was released on PC Engine CD on February 24, 1995 and was developed by Red Entertainment and Published by Hudson Soft in Japan only.
Join the four girls pilots part of a futuristic police unit called the Burning Rabbits. Their duty is to go after bandits, to explore the far corners of the universe and to even venture back in time, whatever the risks, to prosecute the worst criminals. Because humanity is now advanced enough to travel through time, this special police force was created to protect society from these new "time criminals". You have four spaceships, to choose from. Each one balances out the next and usually trades off fire power for maneuverability and speed.
