The game is based on the popular Finnish comedy character Uuno Turhapuro (Numbskull Emptybrook), created by Spede Pasanen and played by the actor Vesa-Matti Loiri. 1943: One Year After is a vertical-scrolling shooter heavily inspired by 1942 (even a carrier take-off sequence is included). The player flies a Lockheed P-38 Lightning over the island-dotted Pacific during the World War 2, fighting against Japanese aircraft. You may collect powerups and perform defensive loop maneuver to avoid enemy fire (up to 3 times) - you have only three lives left. Player's progress is tracked on a map (left side of the screen).
Can you make it back to base through unchartered enemy territory? You can speed up or slow down and the faster you go the higher you jump. You have guns on the front and rear of the Jeep to explode enemy grenades and mega firebombs. Use the ramps to travel on the upper platforms. You must negotiate the long cavern avoiding the roof and grenades.

Elite handled the home computer ports for Europe and North America. The version for the Commodore 64 is too fast and choppy, though the music is decent. The European version is slightly better, being that the floor has a scrolling effect, whereas it’s just a solid color in the American release.

Craig Smith and Aaron Hightower teamed up to make an improved construction set in their homes in North Richland Hills, Texas. They communicated with Sean and Steve to understand the memory layout for the levels and then set out to create an advanced construction set better than the one included with the original game. Among other things, their construction set included the ability to create "treasure matrices" that allowed the user to create special effects similar to the ones seen in the main levels. The original set had remnants in its code alluding to features that had been disabled, likely due to their instability or lack of documentation.
PP&S took the code from Craig and Aaron, and released it commercially in a package called the Wizard Expansion Set. This add-on pack also included 50 new levels from a competition held by the company specifically for the expansion;
In Scary Monsters you are a hunk called Harry Johns who is trapped on a desolate island along with his girlfriend Conny. The fiend who trapped the two of you is the evil Dr. Graves, who happens to be a surgeon gone completely mad! Although at first glance the island seems pretty nice, with some beautiful green hills and forests, making it a nice setting for your own little private version of The Blue Lagoon, it soon becomes apparent that some very creepy characters inhabit this piece of land. In mansions, castles, a church and even a pyramid live Dracula, Frankenstein, a werewolf, a mummy, a witch and a rather funny looking deformed guy. And if being on the same little continent with these creeps isn’t enough, you actually have got to kill them all before you can leave the island… it just isn’t your day! The monsters are hiding in the different buildings on the island and to kill them you’ll have to find an appropriate weapon. For example, to kill Dracula, you’ll need a stake and a hammer and to kill the

Viewed isometrically, Isvar's adventure features complex object manipulation: each object has its own physical properties and resultant characteristics in terms of how much else can be carried alongside it.
