Dark Wraith is a first-person grid-based dungeon crawler game, similar to Wizardry or The Bard's Tale. The main character is Zion, a magic user that finds out that a friendly town-person's daughter has been kidnapped by the Dark Wraith as part of a periodic ritual sacrifice. Up to four other characters can accompany Zion as he searches various dungeons in search of the Dark Wraith. As with many Japanese dungeon crawlers, characters are not created by the player. Rather, they are met throughout the story. However, upon leveling up, the player gets to assign points to various skills and attributes. The game features turn-based combat with enemies appearing within the dungeon, similar to Might and Magic games.

Reines Du Sabbat is a JRPG developed by doujin circle Kenix who would later develop Corpse Party, this work became quite infamous on the Japanese internet during the late 90's and early 2000's due to its grotesque content to the point of being "quietly" distributed on freeware sites.
The game takes place in the country of Serfina. In a small hut there lived a girl called Puff, together with her older brother, Lux. Since they've lost their parents at an early age, the older brother had to take the parent role and take care of his little sister. However, one day, Lux suddenly fell ill with a fever of an unknown origin, with no doctor able to help and him gradually losing his strength. Puff heard about a medicinal herb called the Snow Herb that can quickly bring down any kind of fever and went to the forest of Pia to find it. In the forest, being absorbed in the beautiful flowers blooming there Puff lost her uncle.
This is where the game begins and Puff's journey will lead her to witness the cruelty of human beings.

Characters gain experience points through combat to acquire new skills. The game employs a multi-scenario system where outcomes vary based on strategic decisions and choices made during battles. Although criticized for modest production values, an abrupt mid-story ending, and a simplistic growth system resembling a prototype version, it featured diverse elements typical of doujinshi, such as variations in character dialogue and designs, and occasional single-image cut-ins. Notably, the game manual was integrated within the game rather than being a separate paper format. A commercialized version re
In Metal Eye, the player takes the role of a young weapons expert named Findhill. His father was apparently involved in a project that dealt with creating artificial life forms. But recently he has disappeared without a trace. Findhill remained alone, in a small town surrounded by vicious monsters. He wants to become a hunter, just like his father once was, to get rid of the monsters roaming the wilderness, and get to the bottom of his father's disappearance and his mysterious project.
The game is a rather traditional Japanese RPG: Findhill and his companions, who join the party as dictated by the course of the story, wander around a vast world map, visiting towns, descending into dungeons, and fighting random enemies in turn-based combat viewed from a first-person perspective. The party can carry different types of weapons, including various guns (rifles, shotguns, etc.) with expendable bullets. Weapons and armor are shared by all the characters and need not be equipped on individual combatants. The player can al

The first creation of Illusion, a company famous for its adult games, was a turn-based war game - with the only factor hinting at its creator's libido-flattering future being the generals of the game - all pretty girls, all from different countries.
There are three modes in the game: player vs. computer, in which the player selects any general of any country; campaign mode, in which the player progresses stage-by-stage, beginning with Japan; and two-player mode, in which the players can choose any stage from the beginning.
The gameplay itself is rather complex; as the general, the player has to protect his cities and at the same time send his army to combat the invading opponent. There is a wide variety of different units, including jets, helicopters, tanks, etc. Whenever a unit approaches an enemy unit, it can perform an attack, assuming that its weapons remain in range. Attacks are displayed as separate screens, graphically displaying the results. The player can choose to give up when it is clear that there are
