In "Rabbit Trail," you control the eponymous character, trying to collect all of the characters before other critters get you. You follow a static trail, using rabbit holes to climb from platform to platform. Jump to evade weasels and snag carrots. Later levels include hawks - and one badly timed jump could land you right in their claws.
Rabbit Trail is a Donkey Kong style clone.
This game was designed by both Beverly Starke (Milton Bradley graphics artist) and programmer Dave Landon. According to Dave, Sewermania was MB President Jim Shea's favorite game out of all the MBX titles that were in development.
According to early promotional material, the generator located in the upper left corner of the screen was intended to flood the sewer and kill all the rats. This would help the player in locating the bomb since there would be no rats to avoid for a few seconds (although the alligator would still be lurking around). In the released version of the game, however, the generator's functionality was removed making it impossible to flood the sewer. According to programmer Dave Landon the reason for the removal was because the game was initially developed for MB's own video game unit before being brought over the TI-99/4A (read the MBX development history by clicking the link in the above Trivia section). The TI-99/4A's cartridges were smaller in size apparently to what Milton Bradley had envisi
You're a cowboy fighting off the Slymoids with your gun. They're coming in from the horizon and from the sky. When coming in from they sky they move about from side to side as they slowly descend to the bottom of the play field. You can shoot up in the air at the flying Slymoids, or left and right at the ground dwelling Slymoids once they've reached the front of the screen where you walk to the left or right on the ground.
As you play, the game follows you to the left and right, scrolling through each of the three locations you can play in: along the coast line, in the city, and in the cavern. The cavern has an extra bit as they add strange live dropping stalactites that follow you once they've landed on the ground. Don't get too caught up shooting, you have to stop shooting to move and the Slymoids are coming from all directions but in front of you. You can start the game at any difficulty between 1 and 4, and have three lives.
In Sneggit, you control a chicken trying to gather up eggs from the barnyard before the snakes get them! Pick up one egg at a time, bring it back to the nest, and repeat! But it's not just about quickly grabbing the eggs, you also have to make sure to defend the nests, or else a snake might clean it out completely! This is a pretty fun game for the TI-99/4A and deserves a look! Games back then had such clever concepts behind them. OK, games nowadays do too, sometimes.....
Space Bandits is quite possibly the most unique game out of all the MBX titles. You take control of a robot who must collect Earth's Energy Crystals that were stolen by "Computer Controlled Androids". The uniqueness of the game comes from the fact that not only can you walk up and down the corridors on the bottom of the screen, but also on the sides and top of the screen. Therefore, the game has a 3D aspect to it which makes your mission much harder to complete, especially considering that the controls change accordingly with the different sides of the screen (if you are controlling your robot on the bottom part of the screen all that is needed to move forward is a press "up" on the joystick. However, once on the top of the screen, a press "down" on the joystick moves you forward). This change of joystick movement helps create a more realistic feel that really helps the game out and makes it more fun to play, however frustrating it may be first. After you have the controls for the game down, which can prove to be v
Munchman II is a sequel to the original Munchman, Texas Instruments' own variant of Pac-Man. While the first game had the munchman laying down a chain throughout the maze, this game is more like a traditional Pac-Man game with the player having to eat all the chains. There are four enemies called hoonos attempting to kill the munchman but by eating an energizer it can for a short while go after and kill them.
Some new features set the game apart from other Pac-Man games. The maze is made up of two interconnected screens that the player can move between through two doors. To complete a level the chains of both screens have to be eaten. Another feature is the teleporter that roam around the maze. By running into it the munchman is transported to the other screen.
There are two modes of play: arcade and tournament. In the arcade mode the player has three lives and earns an extra one after every 10,000 points scored. In the tournament mode there is only one life and no extra ones can be earned.
Story Machine is a product aimed at children for teaching language skills.
The product contains animations assigned to key nouns, and verbs. By typing phrases such as "The Girl Jumps Over the Flower" will show the player an animation of a girl jumping over a flower. Through this method, players are able to create short "stories" of about 40 words long and have the computer animate them. These stories are also limited to having 4 "actors" (animated noun objects) in each.

Simon Says! has four colored portions of a large tile, each producing a particular tone when activated by the device. A round in the game consists of lighting up one or more portions of the time in a random order, after which the player must reproduce that order by pressing the correct color. As the game progresses, the number of color presses increases.
Simon is named after the simple children's game of Simon Says, but the gameplay is based on Atari's unpopular Touch Me arcade game from 1974. Simon Says! differs from Touch Me in that the Touch Me buttons were all the same color (black) and the sounds it produced were harsh and grating.
This game is a clone of the arcade game Space Zap (Bally Midway, 1980).
Up to 4 players can play this game, though not simultaneously (at least not on a TI system without an MBX device). It is unknown if Milton Bradley was planning on releasing a 4 way joystick adapter to allow for all 4 players to play at once, since there were rumors that MB was developing add-ons for the MBX system (such as a foodpad). It would not be surprising if this game was meant to take advantage of a certain expansion, since it is the only game from any company on the TI to allow 4 players to compete. In addition there are 4 directions that the ship can shoot in, making it possible for 4 players to all participate at the same time. However, this is all speculation, as playing it on a TI without an MBX system only allows for one player at a time to play.
his game can be used with Milton Bradley's MBX System (an add-on for the TI-99/4A). The MBX allowed for the use of Voice Recognition, improved Speech Synthesis, a 360° Analog Joysti

Parsec is a computer game for the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A. Perhaps the best-remembered of all TI-99/4A games, it is a side-scrolling shooter, programmed in 1982 by Jim Dramis (who also programmed the popular TI-99/4A games Car Wars and Munch Man) and Paul Urbanus.
The player in Parsec pilots a spaceship through sixteen differently-colored levels of play which scroll horizontally over the screen. The objective is to avoid being shot by an enemy ship, colliding with any flying object and/or the ground, and destroy all enemy ships without overheating one's laser cannon.
Three waves of fighters attack, alternating with three waves of cruisers. Enemy ships enter the screen one at a time. A ship flying off the left edge of the screen wraps around to the right side and attacks again. A new fighter can appear with others still on the screen, whereas a new cruiser will not come until the previous one is destroyed. The fighters pose only the threat of collision, while the cruisers fire on the player's ship. The fighter
