Super Smash Bros. Open is an unofficial demake of Super Smash Bros. designed for TI-83 series calculators. The game is heavily based around Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Super Mario features beautiful graphics courtesy of Bill Nagel, 13 unique enemies, 64 unique background tiles (some with animation), fast scrolling, powerups like growth or flower-power, fireballs, a somewhat-challenging boss, an animated ending scene, and an expansive easy-to-use World editor that can be run on a calculator.
ZTetris is the classic TI calculator clone of the popular Tetris game that everybody has played, and that has been made for all kinds of gaming platforms. The original game was programmed in assembly by Jimmy Mardell for the TI-85 and executed via ZShell, but the game has since been ported to every TI graphing calculator by other members of the community.
The game has an impressive list of features, including two-player linkplay (which even works between every TI graphing calculator), 21 levels, top 3 high scores saved with names, 16 different alternating background patterns, trash lines, and even a teacher key.
Munchman II is a sequel to the original Munchman, Texas Instruments' own variant of Pac-Man. While the first game had the munchman laying down a chain throughout the maze, this game is more like a traditional Pac-Man game with the player having to eat all the chains. There are four enemies called hoonos attempting to kill the munchman but by eating an energizer it can for a short while go after and kill them.
Some new features set the game apart from other Pac-Man games. The maze is made up of two interconnected screens that the player can move between through two doors. To complete a level the chains of both screens have to be eaten. Another feature is the teleporter that roam around the maze. By running into it the munchman is transported to the other screen.
There are two modes of play: arcade and tournament. In the arcade mode the player has three lives and earns an extra one after every 10,000 points scored. In the tournament mode there is only one life and no extra ones can be earned.
Typo Man appears very similar to Typo II.
In this Pac-Man style clone you must navigate the map through correct keystrokes displayed on the map. Once all objectives are completed the map is cleared and a new map is displayed.
Watch out for the ghost gloves!
Chicken Coop is a Joust clone from Navarone.
In this game you take on the role of a chicken who leaves the "Chicken Hens" base. From there other chickens are released and you must come down from above to turn them into an egg. Once they are an egg you can capture the egg and a point is scored. If you take too long they will once again return to a chicken and will need to be defeated from above. As the levels progress more chickens are released from the base.
Don't be a chicken! Rule the roost!
Q*bert is an isometric platform game with puzzle elements where the player controls the titular protagonist from a third-person perspective. Q*bert starts each game at the top of a pyramid of cubes, and moves by jumping diagonally from cube to cube. Landing on a cube causes it to change color, and changing every cube to the target color allows the player to progress to the next stage.
Hopper is a game similar to the arcade game Pengo. The player is a kangaroo trying to escape from three circus trainers. The game is played on single screen levels each full of crates. The kangaroo can move around in all directions and push the crates in front of him. The three trainers move around the screen trying to catch the kangaroo and to defeat them crates have to be pushed onto them. To advance to the next level, all of the trainers have to be squished. The player has four lives and when they are all gone the game is over.
Dig Dug is a 1-2 player arcade game in which you have to use your shovel to dig your way through the earth. Stopping you from doing this are two monsters, called Pooka and Fygar, who will continually chase you around. The only weapon that you carry is an air pump, which you can use to inflate the monsters to the point where they explode. (if you start to inflate them but stop doing so, the monsters will get turned back to their normal selves). Furthermore, rocks are scattered throughout the earth, and you can use these rocks to squash them. If the monsters do not find you for several seconds, they will eventually get turned into ghosts, which can walk through the earth. They are invincible and cannot be killed. From time to time, vegetables will appear in the center, and you can get these for points.
You're piloting some kind of tank / ship into a mine. Along the way there are monsters to shoot and items to collect. Shoot too much at once and your laser will overheat. You can also run out of coolant if you don't collect water along the way.
What I found neat was that you have to get out of your ship and walk around to collect items. Reminds me of Blaster Master.
You're a cowboy fighting off the Slymoids with your gun. They're coming in from the horizon and from the sky. When coming in from they sky they move about from side to side as they slowly descend to the bottom of the play field. You can shoot up in the air at the flying Slymoids, or left and right at the ground dwelling Slymoids once they've reached the front of the screen where you walk to the left or right on the ground.
As you play, the game follows you to the left and right, scrolling through each of the three locations you can play in: along the coast line, in the city, and in the cavern. The cavern has an extra bit as they add strange live dropping stalactites that follow you once they've landed on the ground. Don't get too caught up shooting, you have to stop shooting to move and the Slymoids are coming from all directions but in front of you. You can start the game at any difficulty between 1 and 4, and have three lives.
This game is a clone of the arcade game Space Zap (Bally Midway, 1980).
Up to 4 players can play this game, though not simultaneously (at least not on a TI system without an MBX device). It is unknown if Milton Bradley was planning on releasing a 4 way joystick adapter to allow for all 4 players to play at once, since there were rumors that MB was developing add-ons for the MBX system (such as a foodpad). It would not be surprising if this game was meant to take advantage of a certain expansion, since it is the only game from any company on the TI to allow 4 players to compete. In addition there are 4 directions that the ship can shoot in, making it possible for 4 players to all participate at the same time. However, this is all speculation, as playing it on a TI without an MBX system only allows for one player at a time to play.

You are the king of the castle!
In this epic adventure, you must conquer two unique castles in order to become the ultimate victor! The two levels are "Stars of Death" and "Pillars of Gloom".
You begin the game as an icon, of a crown, inside a single layer of the castle. You must navigate throughout the layer to the next portal which will take you to the next layer above or below your current layer. Watch out though there are hordes of enemies throughout each layer all looking to destroy the king.
