Paradox Error is a surreal take on the scrolling platformer format, combining minimalistic black-and-white presentation with self-aware, fourth wall breaking design. Glitches are intentionally integrated, allowing the player to cheat death, open new areas by triggering bugs or leap off of UI elements as if they’re part of the stage. The title screen’s main menu acts as a respawn hub, cursors may appear as enemies or helpful guides, graphical errors obscure parts of the screen and the player’s character explodes into pixels upon death. To survive, you’ll have to quickly identify which portions of the screen can be reached, which pixels can be touched and which ones are simply background art. Adapt as gameplay suddenly shifts to a different perspective or requires interaction with a glitched object to proceed. At its core, Paradox Error is an ever-changing environmental puzzle where you’re expected to die repeatedly and use those failures to inform further attempts, until the goal is eventually within reach
A free-to-play version of Antonball Deluxe.
The breakout title from Summitsphere, Antonball Deluxe is a retro, high-octane smorgasbord of ballbusting arcade action! Antonball Deluxe quite literally turns the breakout genre on its head, blending traditional brick-breaking gameplay with tight, intense platforming.
Add Ghouls 'n Ghosts to your Capcom Arcade Stadium game line-up! It's a moonlit night, three years after the events of Ghost'n Goblins. The powerful Lucifer rises from the Demon Realm, throwing the world into chaos and stealing the Princess's soul.
R-Ack (Pronounced "Are Ah-ck") is a "No Rules" collaboration similar to the Yumps and the VIPs where there is no level design standard. The title has a hidden meaning, referencing the abstract term "RomhACK" where anything goes so long as it's a romhack.
Featuring 35+ levels that totals to 50 exits. Set aside your expectations, as this hack is anything but normal. Actually, inside the chaos could be something normal? Who knows.
You control an entity known as "The Plumber" in search to find the good in the world of R-ACK. Your mission is to simply traverse the landscapes.
Super Mario Parallel Stars is a Rom Hack with 151 Stars. It is the first casual hack from Japan. Starts with easy levels (like mid-game of vanilla), but becomes difficult (not kaizo) near the end of game.
