Mylo Steamwitz, an enterprising space trader, has set out to the perilous mines of the Altairian system. He hopes to collect enough crystals to start a profitable twibble farm. Crystal Caves is a side-scrolling platform game, where the objective is to finish all 16 levels, collecting every single crystal within. On his way, Mylo is threatened by numerous monsters, such as bats, robots, mine carts or dinosaurs; there are also a lot of hazards such as stalactites and stalagmites, pipes which leak harmful water or poisonous mushrooms which kill instantly. Mylo has three health points, and if he is harmed enough times to deplete them all, he dies (but thankfully he has unlimited lives). To defend himself, Mylo has a missile pistol, which is able to take out most enemies, but not all. Many levels require the player to act fast and plan beforehand, as it's easy to get Mylo stuck in an impossible-to-win situation - if this happens, the level must be restarted. After that the player takes control of Luke Skywalker, driving the landspeeder across Tatooine in search of R2-D2. Luke Skywalker explores various locations throughout Tatooine, fighting numerous enemies including Jawas and Stormtroopers. The game features many locations from the movie including the Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley where Luke meets Han Solo for the first time. This section of the game features a classic 8-bit rendition of the "Cantina Band" theme as played by the fictitious band, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, in the feature film. The game also contains many famous lines from the movie including Obi-Wan Kenobi's plea to Luke to join him in his trip to Alderann and Han Solo's description of the smell from the Death Star's trash compactor. Aldo's Assault" is the third in a series of MS-DOS platform/arcade titles inspired by the Super Mario Bros. series. The player controls Aldo who climbs ladders onto steel beams while dodging barrels and grabbing treasure. A timer counts down and each bit of treasure adds to the player's score at the end of each stage. Aldo eventually careens across the skyscrapers of Kong City attempting to steal a treasure chest from an enemy helicopter, and in the next stage we realize he is a wanted criminal. The Snow Bros use snow as their weapon, throwing it at the enemies to stun them. When lots of snow is thrown at an enemy, it becomes covered in a flurry and unable to move. These can be rolled into giant snowballs and pushed or kicked into other enemies. If left alone, enemies will eventually defrost and become angry at the player. You start off only being able to hit enemies up close with the dragon egg, but you can find fire orbs dropped by dead enemies. Grabbing more orbs causes the dragon to grow up, gradually increasing the range of your attacks and even giving you a slight hover at the highest level.
