Open Fortress is a free Team Fortress 2 mod that introduces new gamemodes, weapons, characters, maps, and more to the world of TF2. These additions, crafted by over a hundred community contributors, build upon the iconic mid-century aesthetic of TF2, the gameplay features of classic FPS games, and the creativity and innovation of the Source engine modding community.
The wad is divided into 5-map episodes, each with a different visual theme. There is some semblance of a difficulty curve, both within each episode and for the megawad in general. Certainly map 30 is a bit harder than map 1.
All difficulty settings are supported. UV is the primary difficulty for those who want a challenge, and HNTR was designed to be a more casual experience. HMP is somewhere in between and may not be as well balanced as the other two.
Pistol starts are enforced through MBF21 death exits. There are no secrets besides the exits on maps 15/31.
A killer who kills people who shit and don't flush... Jhon is working night shifts at a vhs tape store. After a customer clogs the toilet with poop... the poop killer will chase Jhon.
Don't forget to flush!
Acid Reflux is a map set for Boom-compatible source ports where you delve through acid-filled sewers, factories, and... subway stations? It should take you around 30 minutes to finish the whole set, and the maps get progressively longer and tougher as you go on. The map contains custom weapons, namely an auto rifle which replaces the pistol, and an upgraded chaingun. Plasma marines replace the wimpy Former Humans, with sprites done by @Tango.
Vicarious is a limit-removing wad for Doom 2 set in a medieval city. It's mostly inspired visually by the Elden Ring Trailer that came out some time around last year, as well as Scythe 2 and @Egg Boy's Cold Front.
Emerald Ambush is a single, small map for Doom II. It has been tested in PrBoom+, GZDoom, and Doom Retro. Set in an overgrown facility, this map was made mainly to get me back in the habit of mapping after a fairly lengthy break. It is similar in style to my Sucker Punch mapsets, but the green detailing is not intended to imply an easy difficulty (it shouldn't be too rough, though).
