Chris Kamara's Street Soccer is a video game released for the PlayStation in 2000. It was developed by Italian company Pixel Storm and published by Midas Interactive Entertainment. The game is named after former footballer, manager and current pundit Chris Kamara, who appears on the game's cover.
Players choose from 25 teams to compete in five-a-side street soccer. 20 are available from the start and 5 can be unlocked. The teams are cities from different countries, such as London, England and Paris, France. The game incorrectly lists Prague as from Norway rather than Czech Republic. Some of the teams consist of female players.
The game can be played in either Exhibition, Arcade, Time Attack, League, Cup and Penalty Shootout mode. The game allows up to 8 players to play via multi-tap.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 redefined an already great game. Its addition of stellar new features (like Create-A-Park), and great game-play tweaks (the manual maneuver will be copied for years to come) made it the best installment in a killer series of games. Anyone who has ever skated the Philadelphia level will agree -- this game is a masterpiece of level design. Hell, it's a masterpiece all around. There isn't a bad park or dull moment, just pure gaming nirvana!
ESPN MLS GameNight is a sports video game released in 2000 by Konami and Saffire. It is considered to be an enhanced remake of ISS Pro Evolution, also published by Konami. It is the only MLS game to have been released on the PlayStation.
Surf Riders features two modes including the Free Play and World Challenge Cup. In the Free Play mode, you can practice skills without a time limit; this will give novice players ample time to learn control layouts and combinations. The World Challenge Cup mode is for all the marbles -- the championship. A round in this mode consists of three heats: the qualifying, semifinal and final. Each heat has four computer-controlled competitors. You must place either first or second in order to advance to the next heat.
In addition to supporting the Dual Shock Analog Controller for analog controls and vibration, Surf Riders uses a memory card to save game progress. Additionally, it features a soundtrack composed of surf-rock bands including Los Straitjackets, The Aquamen and Pollo Del Mar.
Game Boy Color release of Track & Field games is different to the console and computer version in a way that it does not use 3D graphics but instead uses sprites with 2D graphics with various gameplay perspectives, depending on one of the twelve available athletic games. Main two gameplay modes are Single Play and Versus Play.
Liberogrande International (or Liberogrande 2 in Japan) is the sequel to Libero Grande. Like its predecessor, it is an unconventional soccer game where instead of a complete team, only a single player is directly controlled, with the other 10 players being controlled by the AI, although with the option to influence their choice in plays. However, unlike the original title, Liberogrande International is a home console title, and along featuring a more realistic visual presentation, it's now possible to choose formation and pick any player (including goalkeeper and the title-mentioned libero) to control, instead of being limited to play as either right-wing or playmaker, depending on the predefined team formation.
This year's edition allows you to compete against legendary players including Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Phil Esposito, and Marcel Dionne. New Jersey Devils announcers Mike Emrick & Darren Pang call the games.
There is an exhibition mode for up to eight players with the Multitap, a season mode for multiple players, playoff mode, tournament mode, a practice option, and shoot-out mode, that helps to sharpen your breakaway and deke moves.
Also new this year are the updated rosters of all NHL teams including expansion teams Columbus BlueJackets and Minnesota Wild.
This 32-bit update to the original Speedball is best described as a futuristic combination of hockey and rollerball. Speedball 2100 pits two teams of nine players in a cage-like arena where they attempt to score by sending a steel ball past the goalie and into the small goal box. You can bounce the ball off the walls, and you can send opponents flying to the floor with a friendly shoulder charge. Fans of the predecessor will appreciate this sequel.
Speedball 2100, released only for the PlayStation, is a 3D version of Speedball 2 with more options such as choosing and renaming any team, instead of having to play with Brutal Deluxe. This version, released in September 2000, failed to win over gamers and press because it lacked the speed and gameplay of the originals. Speedball 2100 will be released on Evercade as part of the Bitmap Brothers Collection 1.
The first in a series of Konami games bearing the ESPN license, ESPN International Track & Field brings the classic gameplay of their traditional Track & Field arcade series to the PS2 and Dreamcast.

ISS Pro Evolution 2 (known as World Soccer Jikkyou Winning Eleven 2000: U-23 Medal he no Chousen in Japan) is the fourth video game in the ISS Pro series and the second instalment of the ISS Pro Evolution series. It was developed exclusively for the PlayStation by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo. It was available in Europe and Japan but not North America, as ESPN MLS GameNight was released in that territory instead.
It is the first ISS Pro game with proper licenses, although partial, with some players having real names. The game has an extended Master League, with two divisions and eight more clubs, resulting in twenty-four club teams, such as Leeds United and Boca Juniors. More international teams were added as well. The gameplay also changed, becoming smoother and more realistic. The Japanese version of the game also contains Under-23 National Teams, which are not present in the European versions of the game.
Mind-blowing NFL simulation returns with the next installment of this popular, detailed football extravaganza. With full licenses from the NFL and its athletes, the game has all 31teams and 1500 players, plus perfect replication of logos and stadiums. The game’s five modes include Exhibition, Playoff, Season, Practice, and Simulation. Exhibition lets you take the field as any current NFL team, All-Star lineup, or Super Bowl team since 1967. All of the modes keep more comprehensive stats than you could ever hope for, and you can set up a Season to include preseason action, hot-cold streaks, and player development. Not only that, you can create players, teams, playbooks (with up 128 offensive plays), and profiles of chosen formations and pass-run ratios. There’s even a historical mode that allows you to tap into classic games of yesteryear, featuring teams that date back to 1967. ESPN’s Mike Patrick and Randy Cross chime in with commentary, and Brett Favre has returned yet again to add his insight. Throw a doze
Like previous games in 989 Studios' GameBreaker series, NCAA GameBreaker 2001 is a counterpart to their NFL GameDay series. You start out as a bottom-rung coach at one of the 115 division 1-A college teams and as your performance increases, you obtain promotions and offers from other schools. At the end of the season, you're able to export your players to NFL GameDay. As with the previous games, broadcaster Keith Jackson returns to provide voice commentary.
Madden NFL 2001 includes several customizable modes. Players have the ability to create a play, create a player, run a franchise, and collect Madden Cards, allowing players to perform certain actions during gameplay (for example, adding 5th downs, or limiting the CPU-controlled team to 3rd downs). The cards can also alter individual player ratings, unlock special stadiums, and unlock Hall of Fame and All-Madden teams.
World Series Baseball 2K1 is a sports video game developed by Wow Entertainment and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. It was the first game in the modern series to be featured on the Dreamcast, and was the spiritual successor to World Series Baseball for the Sega Genesis.[citation needed] It was released in July 2000 to coincide with the 2000 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Atlanta.[citation needed]
World Series Baseball 2K1 featured a cutting-edge graphical presentation adapted from the NAOMI game Super Major League, and its visuals were well ahead of any other baseball game at the time. Unfortunately, a lack of features, shoddy audio presentation, and major gameplay flaws meant that WSB2K1 was not well received by critics despite its fantastic graphics. The game is notorious for its sometimes-unresponsive controls, as well as the fact that manual fielding—a staple of baseball games for a half-decade prior to WSB2K1's release—isn't even an option available to players.[citation needed]
