The player is presented with an arrangement of tiles, lined up together and stacked, with either 2 or 4 of each of an array of patterns. These must be removed by matching pairs, but only tiles which are visible and have a space to the left or right can be removed. This release in the Activision's Shanghai series includes three games along with the Classic Shanghai. In The Great Wall, the tiles are stacked vertically, and fall when lower tiles are removed, a lá Tetris. In Beijing, gaps are created to slide groups of tiles along. The Golden Tile sees two players attempt to clear a set layout at once. The Triple-theme continues with three game modes: Solitaire, 2-player "Pandamonium", and Arcade. The player chooses either Buster Bunny or Babs Bunny and participates in their choice of sports activities, including baseball, soccer, or tennis. As Buster, they can also play carnival games set up by characters such as Shirley the Loon and Fifi La Fume. After the six girls of the Jahana group have concluded their Variable Geo tournament, a girl named Kotoe Kashima, who happens to be the childhood rival of Reimi Jahana, has organized a new tournament, called "Bout of Cabalistic Goddess". The tournament is once again sponsored by a chain of restaurants, with famous martial artists working there as waitresses. The player chooses one of the six girls of the Jahana group and has once again to defeat all the others in battle before fighting Kotoe and her bodyguards. The Bout of Cabalistic Goddess is the second game in the Variable Geo series. It follows the same gameplay template as its predecessor: the player has to fight the other girls in a pre-determined order, winning two rounds out of three. There are five new girls to fight in this sequel. As before, the defeated fighters undergo various humiliating treatments of sexual nature. Puzzle & Action: Ichidant-R (イチダントアール) is the sequel to Puzzle & Action: Tant-R, and like its prequel is an arcade game released for Sega System C arcade hardware. The game later brought to Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear, with the latter being renamed Puzzle & Action: Ichidant-R GG (イチダントア～ルＧＧ). So far the game has never been released outside of Japan (and South Korea). Like Tant-R, Ichidant-R is a series of timed minigames, represented in the graphical style seen in Bonanza Bros.. Ichidant-R was bundled with Quiz Rouka ni Tattenasai! in Sega Ages Rouka ni Ichidant-R for the Sega Saturn, and it was also bundled with Tant-R as part of volume 6 in the Sega Ages 2500 series for the PlayStation 2. It was also released for the Wii's Virtual Console service in 2007.
