Reines Du Sabbat is a JRPG developed by doujin circle Kenix who would later develop Corpse Party, this work became quite infamous on the Japanese internet during the late 90's and early 2000's due to its grotesque content to the point of being "quietly" distributed on freeware sites.
The game takes place in the country of Serfina. In a small hut there lived a girl called Puff, together with her older brother, Lux. Since they've lost their parents at an early age, the older brother had to take the parent role and take care of his little sister. However, one day, Lux suddenly fell ill with a fever of an unknown origin, with no doctor able to help and him gradually losing his strength. Puff heard about a medicinal herb called the Snow Herb that can quickly bring down any kind of fever and went to the forest of Pia to find it. In the forest, being absorbed in the beautiful flowers blooming there Puff lost her uncle.
This is where the game begins and Puff's journey will lead her to witness the cruelty of human beings.
Les Guignols De L'Info...Le Jeu ! is a point-and-click game based on a French satirical TV program. You play as a new TV reporter who has just joined the WCI, an information channel. Your goal is to get the best scoop from famous people from various fields such as sports, politics, and movies. Your ultimate aim is to replace the main presenter, PPDA. The game does not have an inventory system; instead, you are equipped with a video camera that has a limited battery. You must record pictures and/or sounds that align with your mission briefing, but you have to make choices quickly as there are many characters to interact with and a time limit. The game occasionally includes puzzle elements, such as creating a "portrait robot" or selecting the right dialogue.
How Would You Survive? is an education program based on the book series of the same name. It covers Egyptians, Aztecs and Vikings. The premise is that it shows children the ropes of the people's lives in those time periods in case the player should become one of them. The program mostly consists of interconnected, narrated slides which contain explanations about the subject in question.
It also contains a quiz. Here the player chooses a difficulty level (which only changes the number of wrong guesses before the game is over) and is presented with 10 multiple-choice questions. The goal is to answer all questions before all wrong guesses are spent. When a wrong answer was chosen, the game creates a link to the appropriate slide. After reading it, the player can switch to the quiz and try again. Normally the quiz covers only one time period except for the masterquiz option which is about all three periods.
